I hired Kevin from YTE to entertain the kids while wearing a dinosaur costume at my nephew's birthday party. He was spectacular, he did such an excellent job. I was worried at first that the kids would be frightened by the enormous dinosaur but they LOVED it. My 2yo nephew got so excited that he even started dancing with the dinosaur! The kids were offering him hugs and playing with him - they had such a blast. Thank you Kevin, for your professionalism, charisma, and expertise, for showing up early, and for giving it 150%.

Foil balloons (or mylars) are not biodegradable, but can be recycled. The latex balloons cannot be recycled, but are biodegradable. We at YTE Events and Balloon Decor strive to be a Earth-friendly company. Please feel free to call and ask questions as well. We would love to be able to share more about what we are doing to stay green within our industry.
Though not necessary, many of our clients have chosen to tip entertainers or delivery staff. Simply providing cash in an envelope is the easiest way. However, you can also charge more to your card when you pay your deposit and you can inform our office staff to disperse the funds for you. We are happy to do so and our entertainers and delivery staff always love the extra recognition.
We make it a point to create as much of the balloon decor in our studio as possible. This allows us to simply arrive at your event or venue and to unload, set up, and stage your balloon decor. Though times on this can vary greatly depending on what you order, as a general rule we expect less than 2 hours for delivery and setup. Something like a yard delivery may take 30 minutes where a large scale prom may take more along the lines of 3 or 4 hours if we are going all out with ceiling, dance floor and additional decor.
We do require a 50% deposit at booking to confirm your date and time. The remaining balance is due prior to the start of your event. With balloon decor, this deposit is used to purchase supplies for your event in enough time to prep and build your decor. With entertainment, we use the deposit as a surety of booking so that we can send out contracts to our entertainers and block out their schedules for other events. We certainly can! Though we prefer to use our skills as artists, decorators, and designers we also understand that this is your event and you want it your way. We are more than happy to provide a quote for specifically what you are asking for. We will likely give you additional options when you call or fill out an event request form as we like to provide the best in customer service, but it will all come down to what you want to accomplish for your special day. We look forward to seeing your photo! The best way to get it to us it to fill out an event request form on our website. When we reply with our basic price sheet, you can just send the photo at that time. It will allow us to keep everything in a single email thread and will help us to make sure we don't mix up any vital details of your event.
Every event we design, decorate, and entertain for is custom built for you. So, the more time we have to plan and execute, the better we will be able to perform our job of making your event absolutely amazing. We recommend giving us a call as soon as you book your venue. However, if you want balloons to be a large part of decor, it might even be better to call before you book your venue. Most of our regular clients contact us 3 to 8 weeks ahead of time. In busy season, we may need more time. In slow season, we may be able to do something with less notice. If you do not know what you want, but you want to reserve a date, you can make a booking at $150 to save your date. We can then adjust your contract as needed once we find out all the details for your event.
The air filled balloons usually last days or even weeks when they are inside. When outside, the mixture of heat and humidity can take its toll. Helium balloons typically float for hours (latex ones) and can have that time extended by using a special treatment at an additional cost. Balloon bouquets that are treated can last several days and sometimes even longer than a comparable flower centerpiece may last.
At the moment we work from our studio and focus on balloon designs which are delivered. If you have a certain amount of balloons you would like to pick up and meet the minimum order required for the day, then sure! We would be more than happy to provide your balloons at the door and you can request a quote. Even so, most of our clients opt to have us deliver to their door as it comes with a staff member to help with staging and any detangling that might have occured if you simply place balloons into your vehicle.
We provide both! We have specialize in amazing balloon decor, but also started as an entertainment company. So, we have some amazing quality entertainers as well. Most recently, we even added yard card displays too. Though it doesn't exactly fall into the category of balloon decor or entertainment, the yard celebration packages are still really cool!
We certainly do! We have some amazing yard card greeting options. We have oversized letters, custom messages, custom prints, and even have some additions that can be made to orders as well. You can add balloons, entertainment, or even a custom shirt for the guest of honor!
