Spaces are very tight. Large rigs will have trouble making the swing into pull thrus which are too short. A little better than a gravel lot, but not a lot. Paved roads. Gravel sites. A sprinkling of trees.

If this is the best that Anchorage has to offer, that’s pretty sad. Crowded sites, no privacy, uneven gravel pads. Old sewer connections (some open and exposed- just a pipe sticking out of the ground). Weedy “grassy spots” and you can end up next to a more permanent resident with all their stuff in their spaces. We were going to stay longer than overnight, but changed our plans.

Stayed at the campsite for one night on our way back from Seward. At first we booked a full hookup site, and the gentlement on the phone was helpful accomodating us with a early check-in. When we arrived, we were put in a 30amp, then had to be moved to another site in which the electrical wasnt working, we then got moved again to a third and final site that had full hookup and 50amp as originally booked for. The staff and maintenance person was super polite throughout the whole thing. As for the campsite itself, VERY crowded. Seasonals had his dog off leash as he pleased, one other person washing their camper, and the overall vegetation was unkept. It is definitely tucked in and away for a good one night stay, costco and other stores were within walking distance.

We were happy to find an ok place to stay the night. It was explained to us that they were doing us a favor to let us stay at a half empty park. $43.00 !!! And...we could not use the bathroom. What??? Everyone else here could use it.. about 40 rigs. Large and small. They said because we were only spending one night. What???And no water or sewage hookup. Don't come here!
