Their air conditioner is currently getting a tune up, but if you don't mind the heat you can get pretty much everything for textile crafting here

I love the staff! I love to see the ladies when I come to visit St. Pete; this store always has a great selection! But #JoannCorporate @JoAnnStores_pr, PLEASE GIVE THIS STORE AIR CONDITIONING! Florida is humid and there is no difference in ambient temperature from outside to inside. How can you allow the basic necessity of air ventilation to be ignored? The bathroom is 95 degrees with zero air circulation. WHEN your customers die of heat stroke, please consider the underpaid wages that your Staff and Team have to endure in the Florida Summer inside your store.

My husband and I walked into the store to find some decorative duck tape that we saw on their website. We arrive last night about 10 minutes until they close, at 8:50 PM. After wandering around every aisle, we found a young blonde girl with a walkie-talkie to ask for help. She stated that she does not know where the duck tape is because she only works in the Fabric Department. She started to walk away. I called her back and explained that the store would be closing in a couple of minutes and we really needed help. She looked confused and unwilling. I asked her if she could please ask someone who might know. She started to grab her walkie-talkie out of her back pocket and then stated that she would go up front to ask. She left us standing there, waiting. So, we waited... and waited. She finally came back and gave us poor directions, stating the duck tape is located along the back wall. Ummm.... okay... there are like 10 back walls here and we have no clue. OMG! We were not any better off at that particular moment. So, we decided to never shop here again. The customer service is lacking and I realize now that I should have gone to Michael's. They have a much better rewards program, too. And coupons!!! Goodbye to you, Joann Fabric and Crafts. Nope!

I haven't sewn in over 40 yrs, but now that I'm tired I want to make a few things. Joann fabric was awesome! So much to choose from and so much to look at. I loved it all!! And the store was clean... always a huge plus!

Employees are wonderful about practicing safety protocols. There are distance markers on the floor, sanitizer available, dividers at checkout and fabric counter, and all employees wear masks. Customers are required to wear masks and they offer curbside pick up orders
Or you can look on their website and see if it's "in store" or "online only". Most of the time there are coupons online that offer "free shipping" to your online order.
Yes, they have McCall's patterns and many others to choose from.
Yes
You can go to joann.com and find the exact plaid that you're looking for. Then you can look for the pickup in store option to see if it's available at your local store.
You might want to check their website before going to the store.
Look for a seamstress or some one who does alterations
Michael's craft store.. Home depot.. Joann fabric

I would recommend calling the store to ask.
Check your local weavers guild. Someone in tge guild can point you in the right direction.
That's something you'd have to go online to their web site and look up or go to the store. I believe they have different widths.
