I would give zero star if I could. Made a reservation through Choice website, however when I tried to check in at the front desk I was told that they no longer accept guest. So I was basically kept outside the hotel and had to find somewhere to stay the last minute. What’s even worse is that they played dumb with me when it comes to the refund, front desk said only the owner can issue the refund but refused to let me talk to him or give me his number, Choice said I have to talk to the hotel directly and there’s little they can do about it. So 2 months after my initial reservation I still haven’t got my money back. On top of everything, I’ve heard that this hotel has been used as a shelter for homeless people since Covid and they had multiple positive cases throughout the time period, so it’s basically filled with homeless people, and I can’t imagine what the sanitation will be like even after it goes back to normal operation. I’m glad I didn’t have to stay here. I would suggest people to avoid this hotel at all cost.

The place is being renovated, so it's a bit dingy. Also, it's currently being used to help house the homeless in the area, so don't book here if your a a**hole who thinks those less fortunate than you are below you. Restaurant, conference center and pool aren't open, but for what it is, it's comfortable, clean and safe.

I’m not a guest but I was trying to reach a guest. I called first time and was told to call back in 20 minutes which I did. The second call I was told to leave a message and they’d see to it that the guest would get the message. Then I received a call and the woman was rude and said the answering service can’t relay the message and the guest wasn’t in his room. First off I never knew it was an answering SERVICE. in hospitality you should NEVER BE RUDE to anyone. This is why I rated the hotel a 1!

This hotel was perfectly fine. The price was right and was not expecting much but I have to say it exceeded my expectations. The woman who checked us in was so nice and friendly. The bed was super comfy and the sheets were so soft! Breakfast was fine...typical hotel breakfast. Too bad they did not have real Maple syrup...you know being in VT! Hotel defintely shows its age but it is obvious they do the best they can with with what they have to work with and in no means affected my stay. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and would stay again.
