Awful experience with the Assessors/Collector's office. Terrible customer service. They sent me an excise bill when I haven't lived in Medford in years. I tried calling multiple times over a week's period to get the situation cleared up and no one answered the phone. So I had to take time out of my work day to visit the office. I politely tried to explain to the woman at the desk that I no longer lived in Medford and hadn't in years. She told me with an attitude they don't handle those issues and wouldn't give me any information as to who I could contact for resolution. Yet, the bill clearly states to contact that specific office for inquiries. Hard to imagine I'm the first person who has had to deal with this. The level of disrespect and attitude was completely uncalled for. If you don't like your job, don't pass along your feelings to customers or go get a new job. Simple as that.
