Discrimination against non Spanish speaking people.
August Mabus
Apparently people have been suing the Medford Housing Authority in the City of Medford, Massachusetts and making up all kinds of made up discrimination claims.in order for people who do not even reside in Medford to get Public Housing in Medford. This is Reverse Discrimination. According to the new rules any person can simply lie and state that they slept at a a park bench or a friends house in Medford and then claim that they are a resident, while the real residents of Medford who have been living here for years and paying their taxes are put in the back of the line and are forced to wait longer for Public Housing. In the meantime all types of people from all types of backgrounds that do not even legally reside in Medford are pulling a fast one and jumping the line to get Public Housing in Medford, when in fact these people who are being given Public Housing are totally gaming the system and should not be allowed to even receive Public Housing in Medford, Massachusetts. Now we have all these postings going up in the Haitian language in the Medford, Massachusetts Public Housing complexes and many of the new tenants are being geared towards Haitians who really never even resided in Medford but now are stating that they are a resident of Medford and are completely gaming the system to be able to access Public Housing in Medford, Massachusetts and this is discriminatory towards the real and true residents of Medford. What's going on here is absolutely discriminatory towards the real residents of Medford, Massachusetts and now when we call the Medford Housing Authority we have to dial like number 2 or 3 to speak in English, while it is being geared towards a large percentage of Haitians who we all know have not resided in Medford, Massachusetts and are completely gaming and scamming the system. People should apply to Public Housing where they really live and not game the system in the United States to get some special treatment or get Public Housing to where a person selectively wants it. This now is completely out of control and the ones that are being discriminated against are the real and true residents of Medford, Massachusetts because somehow somebody has determined that we need to be forced to accept these new discriminatory rules that is completely Reverse Discrimination.

For not calling me back

I am not sure if you would be an emergency situation. I would try calling and see what they say. I do know that when I applied, I was informed that I had to either work or already currently live in Medford to apply.
I would go and complete an application for housing with them,or if you have an application on file go in and let them know that you have a change of circumstances.
