What an experience! It was a gorgeous day to tour these beautiful grounds, as well as the home. From the art exhibit in the visitor’s center to the grounds, view and home, it was well worth the hours that we spent exploring.

Stopped on our way back home from Cape Cod since we have a Reciprocal Membership with another Botanical Garden. We only had time to visit the property since we arrived close to closing of the Mansion. We will definitely come back again in the future.

Forgive me for reliving the experience that is Blithewold Mansion from the perspective of a wedding photographer, but that was my experience. The mansion, gardens, and arboretum want very little. Amazing architecture, stunningly manicured and expansive grounds and gardens. The diversity of spaces and vibes coming from each--whether its the bamboo forest grotto, the sprawling front lawn, the secret gardens, interior alcoves and balconies, etc. This is truly a meticulously cultivated space that harkens back to another era and that you can make your very own for your wedding day. It lends itself to beautiful wedding photography (with the right photographer, of course) as well as incredible wedding day memories. The staff here, beyond their helpfulness and attention to detail, care-- you can tell--about the venue and their guests' experience. Five-star place that's well worth a visit even if you're not about to get married.

Fascinating history at Blithewood Mansion. We had an excellent tea service. The scones and tea were delicious. Staff was pleasant throughout our visit. BEAUTIFUL gardens. Great gift shop. Definitely a place to visit!

Yes. There is an admission fee that gets you into the mansion and grounds.
Yes, they do not split admission. One price for both
You can rent a pass from a participating library and bring it with you when you visit. I'd ask your local library about it! :)
We did. It was a perfect place to picnic.
We went last year and I believe we ordered our tickets around the end of Oct or early November. They do sell out quickly so keep an eye on their website. Just to clarify we went to the Holiday Tea
We took lots of pictures and no one complained, so I would say yes.
