Has nice playground with zipline, shaded picnic area, splash park, and some cute carnival rides for young children during weekends of warm weather months. Really an awesome park for both locals and visitors to spend time.

Enjoyable hike! Not too difficult but there are some challenging parts. A lot of interesting plants and insects along the way! Gorgeous view of Boston! We came in early and it’s so serene and beautiful :) really enjoyed it!

Beautiful little hidden gem. Long hiking trail or you can simply drive it. Great scenery.

Very good grounds for children, nice uphill trails, view points, picnic areas and attraction like a Glacial stone make this park a welcome space in Waltham. The trails are marked and pets on leash are allowed. Note the park rules on the pictures.

They finished paving the parking lot Thursday not sure when it will open to the public sorry I can't be more informative
It's an easy walk on a paved path up to the water tower, but make sure you look at the map and judge the distance from where you will park. The main entrance might be a bit of a long walk for a three year old.
For the most part this park is very hilly and can be very steep - if you enter from the residential side it’s less steep but there’s still a slight hill to climb in order to get to more even terrain. I wouldn’t recommend to someone with hip problems or a cane unless you’re up for the challenge!
If you hike the perimeter trails it's about 3.2 miles
There's no fee, but the park closes at sundown. You can walk the trails for free at daytime though!
