I'm an owner operator. I dont know what the website says. The company drivers and owner operators work for percentage of revenue which is not mileage based. I will say I personally drive low miles locally,about 20000 a year and still do well.
Mostly more local, though I'm in a part that runs longer.hometum depends on where you live. I'm an owner operator, so home time is when I want, and I work out of an long haul location near Birmingham Alabama.
