left bike for repair for 13 days, finally could not wait any longer. Two tires on my new rims, 11 speed cluster and chain quote $600. Left bike at Buzzards Bay Bikes, all done 1 1/2 hours later. Cost $300. Service NO Stars

Not happy with the service department. Been working on a project bike since before winter started, decided I wanted a different gear pattern than what was stock and since that was out of my skill set I brought it to Bikeworks in April. The two service techs there that day spoke with me about the gear pattern change for awhile, we discussed how it would change the size of the crankshaft, if it was even possible, and what bike they might be able to cannabilize. We spoke enough about it that you'd think they would make note of it, yes? Guess not. Because now I'm out over $600 on a bike that is now exactly as it was the day I bought it. I've got no more time or money in my bike project bank to even try to salvage it at this point. Just upset at the complete lack of care here. Both my time has been wasted and theirs. As stated, when the bike was dropped off there was major emphasis on the fact that the gear pattern would be changing. Don't even know where to go from here... Thanks Bikeworks!

Called them to try and schedule an appointment the kid was very rude. Left me on hold, said he’d be back to take my information and never came back. I called back because I thought I got disconnected they put me on hold again for 20 minutes only to hang the phone up on me. I tried to call back and they then sent me to their voicemail.

I was very new to cycling and came here for the first time in June 2021 to purchase a bike that I saw was in stock on the Specialized website. I appreciate that the staff made recommendations without being pushy. By allowing me learn on my own through some (slightly embarrassing) trial and error, I now trust their experience and knowledge and feel confident in any of the staff's advice. The shop has created a community through the Bikeworks/Swansea Velo Group which I've heard referred to as their "family". Everyone there has a lot of love for bikes and people and it shows!
