Capital Sawmill has done tree work for us at 3 different times. We needed tree and stump removal and extensive trimming on very old, large maples. Steve and his crew did a terrific job for us. The entire team was very pleasant, the price was fair and the crew cleaned the area of all brush. I would recommend Capital Sawmill very highly.

Yes, as long as there is an inch available to "grip" and saw from. It's $150/hour here, $200/hour and travel time one way at another site. If cleaning the wood or special set up is needed, that is part of the billable mill time. For example, if the wood is under 5 feet long, the mill is not equipped to hold the piece. We can make it work, but it slows down the milling process.
It depends on what you are looking for. It is not an item we process for resale, so there is not appreciable quantity not set pricing. It falls off the logs as they dry and off the slabs as well, so there is some bark. We have sold it in the past, but I do not remember the details.
