Our experience on the tropic boat tours was a amazing. My boyfriend proposed to me Friday night during the sunset cruise in Clearwater Fl. The staff was absolutely amazing in not only capturing the special moment but in taking part in making the whole thing come together. I can not thank you enough for your kindness and generosity. My fiancé told them what he had planned and the staff when above and beyond to make this night unforgettable. I received free drinks my entire tour, was surrounded by wonderful people, and given a night I will never forget!

We had a blast on this boat tour. Staff including the captain were awesome. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and marine life. Drinks were awesome as well. Mango margarita was really good. We seen a ton of dolphins and were pleased with how long the tour was. It was lengthy and you get your moneys worth. Overall it was a really good time

Really awesome experience…the amazing views, sights and sounds made for an almost breathtaking trip. The tour guide was one of the best I’ve ever had for any tour anywhere-he gave great info without taking away from the views. His humorous insights also helped to make it a great experience. And of course, seeing plenty of dolphins topped it all off…an essential addition to your Tampa/Clearwater area trip itinerary

Four of us took the sunset cruise last night. This was a top notch experience. The crew and Captain were all excellent. Service at the bar area was quick and on point. Saw multiple dolphins while out and about and the sunset we had was memorable beyond words. There are two unisex restrooms on the bottom level of the boat. If you’re a beer person, I suggest buying the koozie they offer at check-in, as this will provide you “all you can drink” privileges. They come in 16 ounce cans and trust me, you can get your money’s worth.

There is beach parking across the street. You have to pay for it at the digital meter hub. Expect to alot atleast 2.5 hours for the tour. You will get a ticket if you are out of time.
$26.99 adults
No buffet.
Hey Ana! We are so happy you enjoyed our complimentary Sunset. The champagne we serve is Cooks Brut. Hope this helps!
Ya they accept all service animals
I went on a sunset tour a few days ago at 715pm.
You don't need to, but buying ahead guarantees you a seat at the time you choose. The boat fills up pretty quickly and you may not have as good a chance to get the time you want if you wait till you get to the docks.
The boat holds up to 6 people and is a per hour price. I think it was 160 for an hour, less per hour if you get boat for more hours.
Hello Jackie! Tickets aboard the Tropics Boat Tours for adults 13 years and older are $29.99 plus tax, children (4-12 years old) $16.99 plus tax and children 3 and under are free. We hope to see you aboard!
No, you do mot have to register ahead of time. I believe they rely more upon "walk-ons" as their "office" is between the heavily traveled tourist sidewalk ans the roir boat itself. The "waiting area" is very small and crowded but there are so many things to do and see for the visitors before actual boarding.
I would agree with Marcy S. I used to visit Clearwater Beach as a pre-teen and teenager in the late 70's and 80's (my favorite late great aunt retired to Clearwater in 1979). I enjoyed the quiet and laid-back atmosphere then. MORE beach, LESS hotels. As a 20-something bachelor, I lived in Miami and obviously partied on Miami Beach. Earlier this summer, my wife, teenage son and I spent the weekend at the newest hotel: Wyndham Resort. I was shocked at how Clearwater Beach was trying to emulate Miami Beach, due to national/international advertising campaigns. I do not like the "new" Clearwater Beach as I am not part of the "marketing demographic" (I am a native Floridian 50 year old father and grandfather). If you a younger single person who is not a native then Clearwater Beach will be great as a less expensive alternative to Miami Beach. Plenty of places to eat, drink and party. If you want a more restful, peaceful and scenic vacation, then I would also suggest nearby Dunedin.
I can't recall if there were any grab bars. But I do believe there was a small step over to get into the stall and the bathrooms were small so a wheelchair definitely would not fit in there.
Honestly, I was not paying close attention to any special facilities onboard. I wish I could help further, but please contact the company to determine for certainty.
