Couldnt tell you how the icecream was. As we entered the business, my 6 year old son frantically announced he had to go to the bathroom really bad. I also had my three year old in tow as well. I asked about their restroom, as we were going to be paying customers as was told there was not one. I understand no public bathrooms, but it was obvious my son was about to wet himself and I was desperate. They suggested walgreens a block away. I asked,incredulously, if they had absolutely no bathroom back there for him to use as it was an emergency.I even stated that I am disabled myself and cannot be walking around (just as my mother who dropped us off walked in I left to go next door to see if another business would be more kind to a disabled mother and two young children.) I understand the establishment not wanting beach goers making a mess in the restrooms all day, but given the fact I was obviously struggling and my son was about to wet himself (and planned to get icecream as well as my mother dropped us off there to do so) an exception should have been made. My mom apparently stayed behind and let them know how ridiculous they were and the young lady said she “wasnt in charge” and at one point shrugged her shoulders.Common human decency goes a long way, and I hope that people looking up icecream places choose more disability and family-friendly establishments for their icecream outings.

Stay away from this place. Zero customer service! I ordered ice cream while I was in line I tasted it and it was very fatty too sweet so I asked the gal for a different one and they gave me a different one but when Manager Kathy came over she made me pay for ice cream I didn’t like, I literally had half a spoon of it and she was extremely rude about it, no apology and very hotty attitude, people with “queen” attitude should not be in management because they can’t serve clients. I will never buy anything from this business again.

Great ice cream, chocolates, fudge and candied apples. Close to Pier 60 in Clearwater and a few steps from Ron Jon's, Kilwin's is a pleasant rest spot to enjoy sweets as you make your way around the beach. Ended up getting turtle fudge this time, amazing and decadent! Great location.

It's kilwin's so you know what to expect. It's smells great, the chocolate covered treats, fudge and ice cream are all delicious. The staff was very helpful and polite. Stop in!
