We took our 15-year-old kitty to Countryside in North DeLand and couldn't be more impressed. It was the first time we met Dr. Brewer, and he was so kind and attentive, that we felt we were treated by family. Dr. Brewer followed up the next day with some additional suggestions. We have always gone to Countryside at the Park and have had excellent care there also. We hope that Countryside at the Park will continue to provide service at that location.

I called today to inquire about your boarding services. I also need to have my dog neutered so I attempted to get information about getting him in, and your receptionist had every reason in the book to NOT help me. If my dog did a canine version of the 90’s movie Pretty Woman, and he was of course the canine version of Julia Robert”s character, your receptionist would have played the part of the rude saleswoman who says, “Please leave, we have nothing for you.” Here’s a tip: one shouldn’t presume that my dog is from the wrong side of town and has never been seen by a vet. It is absolutely ridiculous to even have to leave this review, but it’s so necessary. Most people may not pick up on her condescending tone, but I assure you I did. From hearing her rattle off a list of “other shots and screenings that most other places don’t require”, I conclude that my dog just isn’t cool enough to be a patient there. It’s ok though…I’ll take my white trash mutt to a bus that does low cost services and give him a mattress to tear up in the front yard of the trailer park where I’m about to get evicted from…

Had to take my aging cat in to be put to sleep. While I will never enjoy doing this I made a promise many years ago that when any of my pets need to be put to sleep I stay till they cross the rainbow bridge and a little bit after. I appreciate how Countryside gives me that extra time no matter how long i need so I can say my goodbye and thank my precious pet for being such a loyal and loving part of my family. So thanks Dr Cunningham and all the support staff in how my cat Baby was treated I appreciate it greatly.

What can I say about my dogs. They deserve only the best. And somedays I need a little help too. They treat the pet and the owner with equal care. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and besides they’re pugs they wouldn’t let me take them anyplace else

Thanks for your inquiry. We really appreciate everyone's glowing recommendations! The kennels and runs in our boarding facility are indoor and climate controlled. We also have fenced-in outdoor runs that the dogs can access several times a day. We do not have personnel in the kennel overnight. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
Boarding is priced per night for the visit, so there is no charge the day you pick up no matter what time you come. We are open until 5:30 pm during the week.
