a huge park in the DeLand area- lots of walking space, two dog parks, a good-sized playground, a basketball court, a skate park, a large stage, great public bathrooms, a covered patio with picnic tables, and lots of benches to enjoy all the ducks and birds around the water. the park is also near the local baseball stadium and just outside of Downtown DeLand so it’s super convenient!

What a fantastic park. Has a playground, skatepark, basketball court, dog park, sidewalk to stroll around the entire park. My kids love the ponds and ducks. I love the events they host frequently. It's really a wonderful park!

Awesum solid steel skatepark w great mellow mini spine. Even has lights (that may not turn on?). Only thing is ground has turned back to rough seashells, so nobody goes. It’s kind of like skating a street spot? Maybe it could all be buffed and painted one day since the ramps r solid and very very well built/ welded

I used to come here all the time a day child, back in the late 80's early 90's and it was good. Now it looks nicer since they added things and improved it! It's a great place to spend the afternoon and relax in the sun 😎

July 3rd I believe
No
There is a parking lot next to the park if you get there early enough (starts at 5 on the 3rd). There is also a parking garage and field parking across the street. The city usually has areas marked out.

I sure hope not! I'd rather not have another fire out here.
9 pm and that's precisely at 9 lights are out
Just show up and claim your spot, it's not that kind of park, like turkey lake park in Orlando, also as another has mentioned the 2 docks on the west side are in need of work, the gate work isn't finished along the shore line to keep wildlife safe in their place. Not a maintained park, they even had old f.s. statue signs posted with Kevin Beary on them.
My aunt organized my little cousin's birthday party at the pavilion next to the kid's park this past December and she didn't have to pay for anything nor give a notice about it
Unfortunately, there is no one there monitoring the park activities anymore. They used to have a monitor who also manned a snack bar. But that was closed down a few yrs ago. Ever since, it's been an open, unmonitored skate park. But still... your child should always wear appropriate protective gear regardless if monitors, no matter where they are skating. And yes, there are plenty of kids there who do wear at least a helmet. If you have small kids, you should stay there an monitor them yourself, because there are a lot of older kids/teens and even adults who use the park and don't necessarily care about bumping into smaller kids. A smart parent of a smaller child would sit there and watch.
I dunno all u have to do is fish there if cops don't show up Then u can and if they do show up that would mean u can't.
