Customer service needs to be better. When we made a reservation for a lounger there were people already sitting there freeloading and we had to have staff move them. It’s not very organized. If you prepay for VIP parking and arrive late in the morning you may prepay and there are no spots available. I would pay when you arrive instead of pre pay for parking. Reservations are recommend if you want a cabana.

The good: 1. 2 kids play areas that are just AWESOME! 2. Lots of areas for sitting, debated renting a bungalow & glad we didn't because we would have rented it for the heck of it. Because there are tons of sitting areas and chairs. Negatives: 1) there are ZERO areas to cool off (with a/c or fans) if you are not in the water. 2) Lines for food are CRAZY long. The 1 place that had burgers & nuggets; we waited about 45-50 minutes before being able to order. There was triangular tarp that in some places in the line did not cover from the heat. There was also only 2 windows taking orders. After ordering we immediately recieved our drinks BUT waited another 20 minutes for our food in another line with no tarp. The heat & humidity are brutal in FL. (Ex: while waiting in line a young girl collapsed/fainted) by the time our food was ready our iced had melted. 3) the bathrooms are GROSS!!! no a/c so while your in there your wet from the pool and also drenched from sweat. 4) leaving the parking lot was HORRENDOUS!!! no movement for 40 minutes until an officer arrived to direct traffic. Positives: There are so many fun areas for toddlers!!!! Overall for the whole family who ages ranged from 36-2 years of age.

Went to Adventure Island twice within the last couple of weeks. Haven’t been in 20 years probably. Had a great time both times I went. If you plan on going you may want to consider buying a pass, parking alone is $35 (wow, that is crazy high). Both times I went first thing when they opened. First time a lot of slides were closed for maintenance, second time only about 4 were closed. I stayed mostly in the Lazy River and Wave pool. Both times I went during the week and it wasn’t very crowded either time. Food and drinks are high so pack a lunch, leave the park to eat at the picnic area or visit Mel’s Hot Dogs, either way get a pass to come back in. They close at 5. Everyone should be good and tired by then. Don’t forget your sunscreen. Have fun!!

I was so excited to take my niece out for her birthday to Adventure Island to find many of the attractions was either closed or not working...for instance the wave pool to my knowledge never came on...the lines were extremely long and the best part was the lazy river but it became the most popular spot, therefore leading to less tubs in the water...the waterfall was the best part of the lazy river...eventhough I almost lost my contacts in my eyes....I guess I was thinking Adventure island was like how I remembered back in the late 90s early 2000s.

It’s very disorganized. You’ll have to wait in a long line too for security. Last time I was there which was last weekend it wrapped around the park. I’m sorry you’re dealing with that.
