Their website could use a little help. When their site claims over 1,500 dogs adopted out in a year but only have one or two available for viewing they are losing the opportunity to find homes for their dogs.

Adopted Lucky on 7/20. Very clean facility and encouraged us to spend time with her in their play room area. Lucky was and is very friendly 💖 She is our first fur baby and is truly spoiled 💖

We absolutely love our new fur-ever friend we adopted today. He is a sweet and beautiful all grey 2 year old cat. He is chipped, neutered, and vaccinated. He was already flea free. They also included a free veterinarian appointment in the adoption fee. The adoption was only 30.00 and with all that was included was totally worth it. The pet center is very nice and clean it also has a very relaxing atmosphere. I definitely recommend adopting a cat or dog from here being that there are so many who are waiting to be loved.

My friend and I got an 8 week old kitten named Bean from here. She fits in the palm of your hand and she seems really healthy. She runs around the apartment and gets along well with the other slightly older cat. She was 15 dollars which includes her shots and getting her fixed.

Owner surrenders are euthanized quickly even though it is not the dogs fault. I would beg a non kill rescue to take ur dog and find loving forever home . THEY care enough about the dog to at least do that. Please people do not axopt again. U get anomals killed!
Availability varies, you need to call ahead to ensure they are open and have room.
Sorry, I don't have an email for the center.
Just walk into the center and ask, they are very friendly
How will u be able to care properly for a lifetime animal to keep, vet....shots...food ...care if u cannot afford 20 dollars to adopt! People get pets cheap at county shelters and the do profitable$$$ deals for themselves and tbe animals suffer. Shelter should not adopt out to people they have not checked out what their intentions are for the animal esp if they say they cannot afford the basic adoption fee. Does not sound in the pets best interest. That os what we all want isn't it???
You need to personally visit this shelter to see the animals. At that point take pics.
County Shelter in St. Johns County is a kill Shelter. They must take all animals turned in unlike a humane society. Went County Animal control gets full or ill animals...if rescues do not take or private adoptions....animals are euthanized.
