Absolutely loved our time here! Well worth the price and trip. Our dolphin was Dazzle and I absolutely loved her. The trainer was cool too. Don't know what else to say about this place except if you're looking for a dolphin experience, I highly suggest doing the swimming adventure package.

Marineland is an aquatic habitat for dolphins and a few other animals to study. They have tiger sharks, turtles, eels, fish, and a other aquatic life. They specialize in dolphins and are one of the first organizations to train dolphins. We received a tour of the aquarium from Joan who was thorough and very knowledgeable. We had a great time visiting. The walkway to the dolphins is along the ocean giving a beautiful view.

WOW! Is all I can say. I had the experience to meet dazzle (the dolphin) and she is the sweetest!! I did the swim adventure where you get the belly ride! I loved every part of the interaction with the dolphin and marine land. Very sweet and friendly staff. I will definitely be coming back!! Thank y’all for an amazing experience

My son loved watching the dolphins and turtles! They have a tour behind the dolphins-which you can have an interaction with, but my son is too little. Not a big place so don't expect all day, but it's about 20 minutes south of St. Augustine so a fun excursion for a morning or afternoon making memories that you can't get very many places. Definitely will be back when my son is older for a dolphin encounter!

So I went there recently and I can see how you got that impression bc I kinda thought the same thing but once I got there I saw that all the animals were rescues and the enclosures aren’t just pools there much nicer than that. They have little signs telling you why they’re there, like a logger head turtle that got hit my a boat and is partially blind. And sometimes they do little activities with them.
Yes. I think it is under dolphin programs online. If you do a dolphin program/encounter, the general admission is included.
We took our Grand Daughter on a Sunday, so I would say yes, unless they have different hours for certain months of the year.
The immersion program is over $200 for an advanced ticket. Its in both shallow & deep water. The discover dolphin program is $199 for an advanced ticket. Its in shallow water. Their website has a lot of information. I went here & didn't do either of these & wish I could've. I only did the touch & feed program & even though weather got in the way & it was only a short program it was totally worth it & I will definitely pay for the immersion program next time I go here. It's absolutely fantastic!!
Yes. The event is highly supervised and safe.
About an hour and a half if you are not doing an encounter. Longer if you are because you have to be there an hour before your start time.
It's a tourist attraction. So you have to like being around all sorts of people. I don't if you would interact with the animals as much because the people that do are probably highly trained. Who knows, maybe you're a dolphin whisperer.
Brittany Thank you for your question. We do our best to accommodate special needs or request. Please call our reservation number and speak to them about your need of a private session. 407.563.4701. We hope to see you here.
You are asked at reception which packet you would like. They are very friendly and take their time to explain each.
No you have hours set at different time of the day. Not stroller friendly for tour has aquarium there also shark feeding set at different times. It's the first aquarium in the United States to train dolphins alot of history there me and my family enjoyed our self's. For the prices we paid for 4 adults was under 100 hundred dollars
I don't believe there are. There are some at the Jacksonville Zoo.
No place to eat at Marineland other than just snacks. No sit down restaurant or snack bar.
No they close down if rain starts but most the time they offer a rain check
25 a person
I think they start at around $100 or so, maybe $150. I glaced at the price list. They have I believe 15 and 30 minute sessions with the animals. I'm not sure what all each package entails and I think they have family packages too. I think you can have an interaction (noting the water with them) for like $40 or $50. Give them a call and they can give you better details.
The children of the dolphins are still there. Surge is the child of Nellie. There may be a Dolphin or two from that time there. All of them were born there for sure.
I believe it goes by height. And no jewelry. Unique experience.
From the FAQ section of the website "To thank them for their service, Marineland Dolphin Adventure offers 25% OFF admission and interactive programs to our active duty and retired military and their families with promo code “MILITARY25”. Parking is free, handicapped parking available right at the entrance to the facility, or you can pull up to the entrance and allow passengers with disabilities to exit the vehicle and enter the facility before parking. Inside, the facility is very accessible to those with disabilities and very handicapped-friendly.
No, There is bottled water at the gift shop
Did not see it.
We will be closed Christmas Day and open the 26th on.
All that information is on the website. If you go into where it says buy tickets it gives you each option and the requirements for them. There is also a height requirement. My daughter (7) was measured at the gate upon entry.
Admission is $22.95 for adults and $16.95 for children. please refer to our website for other opportunities of interaction. www.marineland.com
Turtles and a small exhibition tour of the history of the place and some fish of the area
Requirements: All participants must be 42″ or taller* Participants under 54″ must be accompanied by a paying participant over age 18. *Please note: Children 42″ to 54″ may need to be held and may not be able to complete all behaviors.
I want to say yes but I'm not 100%sure
Swim with dolphins experience would include the entrance fee. Cameras are not allowed if you decide to do any interactive experiences with the dolphins, but are allowed when you see an educational dolphin show and around the premises. They do have professional photographers taking pics when you interact with dolphins at an extra charge. They also have shark feedings most days and turtle feedings.
I'm not sure but I think they have a program for teens
Yes of course. How else are you going to document your fun time? :)
Not sure. Think we paid $35 a person but we paid the extra to interact with the dolphins and the private tour. It was a really fun experience. We did the last tour of the day so got to spent extra time and it wasn't rushed.
IT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT! Once in a lifetime and amazing!
It is te same place, diffirent managment and smaller. A hurricane put them out and they went bankrupt for a while until new owners bought it
Sure
Yes but it sometimes can be the same day, .they do that certain times a day.
I do think a 3yr old could enjoy a visit, but I wouldn't pay for any of the expensive dolphin encounter specials they offer, until a child was older, maybe 8 to 10, to really get something out of it. A 3yr old will get bored in this place in maybe half an hour, after you look at the giant turtles through the tank windows and see a dolphin or two in their tank.
I don't remember exactly, but it seemed like quite a while. Maybe 1/2 hour.
About $ 250
No. They offered very little the day we were there.
You can touch and feed at age 3 (you are not in the water for touch and feed). You can't swim with the dolphins.
Trainer Talk with a few dolphin stunts and the Gift shop. Oh, let me not forget the of shark jaws and the Triton/Neptune statue to take pictures with.
200 to swim with them for 30 minutes and 37 to touch them.
Depends on what you want to do there. They have different packages...one you can feed and touch the dolphins, or you can swim with them (that's quite a bit more).
Yes, shows start at different times. You can call the day before you get there to find out.
Yes there is an admission fee and other fees for feeding the Dolfins...there is a back door tour that is GREAT..extra. dont think you would need all day at the place. Great staff, very cool place to go...
We went the same day, when we were there , last year , !!!!
23 dollars per adult, 20 for seniors and 17 for kids, and there are meet and greet packages too... very reasonable definitely not disney
And you will be on the other side of the tank so far away that its over before you can see anything. Basically, you see them being fed. Unless you want to pay close to $100 to feed them yourself. I went with 2 other older women and we were all disappointed with this attraction. As were other visitors there that day. Only other animals there were 2 sick turtles and a couple of sharks you couldn't see because of all the black algae in the tank. This place is a rip off
Pricing (includes General Admission): Adult (ages 13-59): $26.95 Child (ages 3-12): $16.95 Seniors (ages 60+): $25.95
There is a base price that will get you in but if you actually want to be able to pet the dolphins it is much more.
$199 but you don't actually swim with them. It's a "shallow water experience". Still pretty cool and more affordable than most places like Discovery Cove.
Most likely because of the hurricane
We had a wonderful experience with the touch and feed. It is truly amazing to see these animals so close. My daughter is 7 years old and she had the best experience. I felt like the dolphin could make eye contact.
