Where do I even begin? Worth every penny. Wonderful Musuem. Wonderful collection. Beautiful building. The history and displays are immaculate. They’ve done a fantastic job. Wonderful time. We spent about 2 hours in here. I could’ve spent all day in there. Very friendly staff. They care about this museum. What a wonderful experience.

Great museum with displays including stained glass, furniture, glassware, porcelain, paintings, curiosities and so much more. The building itself thought give the visitor an insight into the opulence of life in the late 18, early 1900s.

Beautiful museum full of collections of glass art, crystal, furniture, paintings, and tons of random pieces (toasters, rocks/minerals, a sarcophagus, etc). While the collection is interesting, it is not very great from an artistic perspective. There are no masterpieces in this museum that will move you. Kids will enjoy some of the displays, like a fully preserved lion, but they will probably be bored walking rooms of furniture- unless their favorite show is Antiques Roadshow! They should trade the crystal room for a toy collection to appeal to children! Coming from DC, I'm spoiled by the amazing free museums of the Smithsonian. So when I pay $17 for a museum (full-price adult ticket), I expect to be wowed by the Birth of Venus, Michelangelo's David or another masterpiece. Still, I enjoyed the many pieces and the beautiful architecture of the building and grounds. Definitely a great rainy day activity in St. Augustine. Before you go, check for exhibits as they rotate throughout the year. There may also be discounts on admission available online or through other tour operations. And it's free to locals, which is pretty cool.

Very interesting place multiple floors of exhibits you can even have lunch in what used to be the indoor swimming pool. Among exhibits are a music room the old steam room and a large thing for water treatments that looks like it came straight out of One flew over the cuckoo's nest Tiffany Glass lots of glassware in general this could go on for days if I actually listed everything that's in this place it's huge. I had enough fun that I joined as a member, I live just over an hour away and plan to make a few trips to see the rest of the museum you can easily spend a day or two very highly recommended.
