Get and support them however you can. Puppies and kittens need homes and financial support while being cared for. We just adopted our pup 2 weeks ago and doing great! Please know your own family emotional/mental/ & physical abilities/limits, financial abilities, and time you can offer. They want to go to someone that can handle their needs and will be very confused as to why they would be returned. Offer a loving home to a fur baby!!!

Have been here twice. Great place to find a treasure. Reasonable prices. You will need to search. BUT their website states a 10am opening and the store doesn't open up until 11am . AND they close at 4pm not 401pm. We tried to shop at 1035am and stopped by only to notice the hours were 11am. SO we went into St Augustine and stopped back at exactly at 340pm we just wanted to grab a we fun items we had seen earlier. I was greeted not with a hello BUT We close promptly at 4pm. I told her no worries. My suggestion is update the web page.

I didn't know about them as I'm not from around their area. We stopped and found some great things for my fur babies. Daughter found some shorts for herself & her boyfriend. I was very happy about my purchases from a rescue.

I rescued a beautiful female mixed breed who was named xxxx but I have renamed her Lily Love which totally fits her personality. She was very shy at first but has become my best friend. She loves me and I love her. She lives with me in a beautiful home in Rainbow Springs. All my friends say she hit the jackpot when I adopted her. I will love her and treat her with gentle kindness for the rest of her life. I want to thank the wonderful people at S.A.F.E. for the caring they give to these animals and especially to Bobby who helped me get my perfect forever friend. Please adopt your pet instead of buying them. These wonderful animals need their forever home.

Yes, when they are not very busy with the precious animals that are in there. I experienced best time to call is first upon opening and just before closing. If you go there you will understand, because they are so busy with many beautiful pets desperately needing homes. Please be patient with the volunteering staff they're doing the very best they can. And I personally am extremely proud of them all.
They have like a million dogs right now. Definitely worth a visit. Crescent beach location, I think, has the smaller ones.

There is the SAFE location in St. Augustine AND one in Crescent Beach, Treasure trove mini strip mall. There is also a place near cobblestone plaza, it looks like white cinderblock house. One side is reality the othe side are pets. Plus you also can check animal shelters. The oldest often aren't adopted but in mho they appreciate the most. Good luck! 🍀
