Just moved in not even a week ago Amanda wasn’t that friendly at all. So from the start I was a little hesitant. Then to get into my first apartment first night water main issue, second night roach issue, and I’m not sure it I’ve been seeing termites but there is some smaller bugs which look like them on my wooden table. Also last but not least in fact most important. The management is too cheap to get fire sprinklers. So Yeaa no fire sprinklers. Something that saved my life once before. They don’t even have them installed here.

I lived here for a year in a one bedroom (charleston landings). Management was absolutely amazing. Any issue I had (very rare) was met with quick service and they were always very helpful whenever I had questions (very common). The apartment was priced accurately for what it was. I was in one of the older units and they were renovating units all the time. I would walk my dog every day, sometimes late, and I never personally felt unsafe. I had a small issue with people letting their dogs off leash (3 different people, one was a repeat offender). I emailed management about this as my dog was not always friendly and I did not want to be held responsible for other tenants not following the rules but I consistently saw one couple with their two dogs off leash in my building. Management followed up with me on date, time, location, descriptions of people/dogs, but otherwise nothing else was done. It explicitly states in the lease that off leash dogs are cause for eviction but this didn't happen. I can't say if that's because it's hard to prove without pictures/video or anything else. Who knows? But honestly, I blame the neighbors more than anything else.

My experience at this apartment complex was nothing short of amazing. I got an awesome apartment . It is so beautiful from the floors to the cabinets every detail is perfected . The staff they were literally so nice to me and my boyfriend .We felt so welcomed by the staff. Not only did they take their time with us the ladys in the office seem so helpful . I read the reviews but soon as we arrived all of that was put to rest . Also the area is to die for. They also offer valet services for trash 3 nights a week!!. Definitely give a try don't let reviews scare you away. I'm going to be happy with my new home.

So without sounding wounded and whiny, I will try to be as fair as possible. I moved here mainly because of the location. It was close to work, not too far into Brandon, and located across the street from Publix. The convenience of the location is wonderful! When you visit the apartment, it's very obvious that it's an older community but they keep the outside very clean and manicured. They remodeled the pool and leasing office. The staff is friendly, if not a little aloof at times. Now the prices are great, but it is true when people say you get what you pay for! I got a 1/1 which is of a pretty good size but things weren't wrong very quickly after I moved in. Bugs are the biggest issue! The day I moved in, I was killing roaches and ants. I tried giving it the benefit of the doubt b/c apparently an old cat-lady lived there for years before me. I thought, just give it some time and they will go away. But I am still killing an average of 4-6 roaches a week and not just one type of roach in particular either! All different kinds...I've gone to the office on every month, in which they've put me on a list for my apartment to be sprayed extra, but I'm pretty sure the pest control people are just spraying water because it made no difference. I've had my ceiling collapse in because of pipes bursting, my tub spews out black stuff occasionally, the internet is impeded by the building's old structure, power outages at least once a month, my A/C has died, and the office staff is powerless to do anything about it but apologize. Like I mentioned before, the staff is friendly and they try to help, but they can only do so much. You can tell that they understand that the complex is old and trash. Nothing is going to get done to fix it. Before you move in, consider your priorities. It's a quiet community with a great price, a great location, and a nice staff (reason for the two stars) but there is clearly a bug infestation and the buildings are old, decomposing, rusting, and rotting. Don't let the new coat of paint fool you. I am a clean person, so the constant surge of bugs was my deciding factor to leave. I let them know that I won't be renewing my lease. This was my first (and last) lease with them. It's a shame because it has potential.
