Great place for a family day trip! It's nice shallow water for a long ways but also a very large swimming area with a decent sized beach and a lot of room for other things. It gets pretty busy and crowded in the afternoon but who would give less than 5 stars for an awesome place?!

Still pretty early in the season and it was a chilly day but I imagine this spot is highly coveted during the warmer months. There’s a beach and swim area and I saw a stand that must rent out paddle boards. Good for families.

They need to open the BATHROOM and maintain it. The portable outhouse is always overflowing. I pay taxes for service and a heavy duty user fee to the PARKS. CHINA VIRUS IS NO EXCUSE FOR LACK OF MAINTENANCE!

Yes it is open for swiming and beach play. No boats. Not very much parking so go early. They tow if parked on road.
Yes. But they are required to have a leach, and they are allowed in the water too. I've seen a lot of dogs swimming lately.
