Easy access to and from I-83. Looks like a very nice park with opportunities for hiking, biking, kayaking and much more. Plenty of parking spots, nice pavilions for rent. Was wondering why water level is low, then read that they’re doing repairs. We’ll be back to explore the trails.

Although 83 runs right along the lake, it is a beautiful lake nestled down into the hills and a nice place to enjoy nature. Water was pretty low when we were there so difficult to fish as the fish were farther out in the water. My understanding is the shore is usually under water and the water is several feet higher.

There are also bathrooms on the other side of 83 where the geese like to congregate.
The park is open. The lake is drained though. No kayaking for a while.
The water is very low right now at redman they do
Yes, anyone can fish there with pa fishing licence.
