The trail starts North of York and goes as far as Railroad and New Freedom.I don't ride but have walked the trail end to end...not at one time. Great way to see how hard it must have been for early settlers and how naturally beautiful our countryside is even today.
Don't think you can but you can stay and park in Nearby New Freedom or York City at the trail head
There are 3 or 4 covered picnic tables around the parking lot.
The place that had bike rentals in the next town south went out of business several years ago. The only place I know is the bike rental stands in the city. I think they are Zagster.
This is the place cross a street and the tracks and there you are you can go either direction for many miles (more to the right)
