The subs and strombolis are great, but do NOT order a "salad." We paid $13 for what is pictured. The menu said that it is served with roamaine, but there was just a little bit of iceberg sprinkled on the bottom. When asking if it was intentional, the person at the register said "yeah, our salads are the items listed on the menu on a bed of lettuce." If this were fairly priced, I may not have been mislead to think this would be a fulfilling meal. There is limited seating indoors, but they have some nice picnic tables outside.

This is definitely the best Italian restaurant in PA, not even a fancy restaurant in NYC make the food like Here. Everything is homemade and fresh, they also make the bread fresh everyday. Definitely can wait to go back, I drive 4 hours almost every month to visit Giovannis pizza and eat everything from there!!! The California cheesesteak highly recommended Also the laaagna is reaaaly good and I can taste the homemade sauce 😻

I knew it was there, but I still drove by and missed the place. I got a Ham & Sausage Calzone, and it was very good. The sauce was good, but a bit "generic" for my taste... but then again, I'm Italian 😁 I gave Giovanni's 4 stars, (it would have gotten 4.5) but only because I stopped there because I wanted a cheese steak, or pizza steak sub - but the steaks are frozen & chopped... like "Steak-Ums" 🤨 I don't know why, but it's like that a LOT in this part of PA, so always ask first, so you're not disappointed. TIP: Some places do have REAL, sliced Roast Beef for subs, so it's just like a steak sub if they heat it on the grill 😉 Unfortunately... not here.

EDIT: pizza is on point. Bumped my review up a star because the pizza is def the best in the area. Hands down. Growing up in a sub and pizza shop I can admittedly be a snob when it comes to this type of food. Having said that, Giovanni’s is really good. It has a wholesome taste that chains and franchises will never have. The staff is friendly and the subs are def worth giving a try. I would recommend trying it at least once to see if you like it. Chances are you will.

Yes they do. Not sure how far away though.
Eat in or carry out, haven't ever seen it that crowded... Usually has a few seats open...
They have the best subs with a toasted roll. Salads are outstanding with their homemade dressing.
