We live within walking distance of Albertsons. But we go down the road to Vons. Vons carries everything we want to shop for, and has it in stock when i go there to shop. You can learn where things are in Vons and when you go back, you will find it in the same place. And the folks at Vons are always friendly and helpfull.

Von's always has what I am looking for. Great place to shop. They have very good quality produce and meats. Staff is always helpful.

The lady at the hot food section was serving me some fried chicken and I asked for an extra sauce on the side,she refused and said she would have to charge me.I said" Albertsons would usually just give it for free".She insisted that Albertsons and Vons are totally different companies and have different store policies. Today I called corporate and told me it was a misinformation since Albertsons Co. (located in Fullerton,CA)owns all Vons stores now and have the same sales.. Maybe this associate needs regular company updates so she will not argue with customers regarding this matter. I will just go back to my local Albertsons store to avoid this. I'm absolutely dismayed;(

I always loved this vons since I moved here 2 years ago, employees are friendly but work is NOT getting done. 95% of the time I go into vons or order online from them the last few months theres at least 1 item thats way past expiration or the produce is mush when it arrives due to being way too old. Stock is not being rotated or worked and I'm getting frustrated. I got bottled soda a week ago and as I finish the last 1 I notice the expiration was 5 weeks ago which means its been there without being removed from the shelf. I used to work in grocery and rotating is massively important so people don't get sick. If I have 1 more issue with this I'm going to shop elsewhere, I know the pandemic has made things hard but rotation is highly important, more important than restocking
