I have noticed a number of very serious no trespassing signs underneath the John's pass bridge on the Madeira Beach side. I also noticed the number of no jumping or diving from the bridge signs had all of the entrances to the bridge. However I do not see any signs notifying motorists on Gulf boulevard in Madeira Beach the pedestrians have the right of way on sidewalks and in crosswalks nor do I see any warnings for electric powered bicycles which are really not bicycles anymore they're very similar to motorcycles flying up and down the sidewalks jeopardizing pedestrians and in some cases bumping into them and continuing to proceed on their way. This appears to be a disparity in the priorities that the sheriff is demonstrating. Hey don't get upset with me I'm just observing what the laws say and I don't know why the laws are administered and enforced indiscriminately and with references towards some and not others.. Perhaps the posting of a number of videos to the internet to justify this statement might be indicated however everybody knows what's going on so what do we need evidence all you have to do is look around.

officer taristano is completely biased, does not know her laws, and should not be trying to enforce the law if she cannot control her own emotions. maybe she should get more police training because dancing in a prayer circle and interrupting is ONLY illegal in tax exempt places of worship. ALSO, her body can footage was OFF when talking to planned parenthood protectors. disgusting woman who needs to gain some professionalism.

Is it regular practice for sheriff to accuse citizens of sleeping in a park during the day? Telling me I'm lucky he's not giving me a ticket, requiring my identification, then taking a secretive photo of me on his cell phone? Here's a photo of me at this park. Really felt like a prejudice stop and harassment type feeling. Needless to say I did not stick around for very long after he continued to not know how to tell the difference between someone tanning and laying down after yoga vs someone sleeping in the park, which he continued to accuse me of and say how lucky I was for not getting a ticket. If this is a law in all of Pinellas county, I guess I will have to move away and never come back, Cause on my days off, I quite enjoy yoga and stretching in the park. This happened at medeira beach causeway park on April 27th 2022 around 1430 , 2:30 pm. He didn't give me his name or badge number.

Officer Natalie Williams was completely condescending and disrespectful. My mom called her out to help her with a noise ordinance with neighbors and as much as we tried to resolve it on our own with no luck, the officers were of no help to try to mediate. She told us to buy the neighbors cookies, midol, and a hallmark card to resolve the problem. She was completely unprofessional and rude and was of absolutely no use to us. We understand the laws that follow along with noise ordinances but she was literally laughing and smiling in our faces about the problem at hand . She also had a male officer with her who said absolutely nothing throughout the whole thing so I don’t even know why he even came along. I understand that police work isn’t always easy, but when it comes to actually handling problems, they were completely lacking. Do better.

You can go to Safe Harbor on 49th St. It is a homeless shelter run by the Sheriffs Office. They provide all sorts of services. The fact that u r living in the woods does not give u foot to stand on since she lives in the neighborhood. With that said, u can call Largo PD but they will most likely make u leave if ur on public or private property. I'm surprised she has not called Law Enforcement yet.

Melissa I am not sure what number they may have sent you to. I work in the communication center as a 911 dispatcher. Please call 911 and talk to a dispatcher so you can get some help. The calls from other services 211 etc. mostly get put to us through on our non-emergency line and answered after emergency calls. That said it would be highly unlikely that it would take 20 minutes but I suppose it could happen if it were extremely busy or they put you through to a wrong number. Again if your suicidal call 911 it's perfectly fine. Being suicidal is an emergency to us and we will do what we can to get you help right away.

After bridges are inspected and any downed power lines are cleared. Relax. The storm surge was much lower than expected, my next door neighbor stayed and said no major issues they could see walking around Tierra Verde. A few hours won't make a difference in the big picture...
Red Cross special needs shelters have nurses and EMTs. In the meantime put it in a cooler with ice. If a diabetic emergency (blood sugar way too high or low) call 911
