I had to do 12 weeks of outpatient therapy after a legal mistake in 2016, and I still cringe every time I think about my experience at Integrity Counseling. Tanya Bunch was condescending, talk down the nose pretentious, and I made it clear from day one that I was only going through the motions to get my certificate of completion and get out. Mac Jacobs was a douche canoe in the initial consult, and I could tell immediately he was yet another part of the criminal court extortion racket for $$. If you’re searching for court ordered counseling, find another, much cooler practice. What a waste of education these “therapists” spend time getting, only to use it exploiting people in the justice system that slip up. Better them than me. I personally wouldn’t be able to live with myself knowing I was making an already bad situation worse for my reluctant patients. A bit control freaky and twisted IMO. They don’t need good reviews because they know their practice sucks, and wouldn’t stay afloat if they didn’t make their money off people forced into their programs. I would seek therapy from someone flipping burgers before I would go back to these clowns.

Mac Jacobs is a joke. The most unprofessional experience of my life. He does not want to help you. He just cares about the money pit that he knows he can put on you and gain from it. And if you do not comply with his fake overcharged "treatment plan" you lose your license or are punished by the courts. He's rude. unorganized and condescending. Total waste of time. This man should definitely not be in the profession he is in. Its sad that he just wants to take advantage of people who already made a mistake and are paying for it. Talk about kick you while your down.

This was one of the worst experiences of my life. I was charged in court with leaving the scene of an accident, and though alcohol was not involved I was still told to get a substance abuse ASSESSMENT. I scheduled an appointment with Mack Jacobs and arrived at the proper time. There was no receptionist(I was later told that she went home) and after waiting around for 45 minutes, Mack Jacobs appeared. In his small back office I explained the need for an evaluation and the reason behind it. He made occasional grunts and groans, nodding his head in a derogatory way. When he did speak it was in a soft condescending voice. As soon as he heard that the court decided I had take classes IF the counselor recommended them, he insisted I take a urine test and enroll in his 14 week class($30/class), with periodic drug and alcohol testing($45/test), plus additional one-on-one meetings($200x2), mandatory AA meetings once per week, and two written assignments due throughout the course. I decided I had no choice and set a date to begin counseling. He gave me only one option for time, Wednesday nights from 7-9, My job requires me to wake up at 3am, so I knew on those days I had to settle for five hours of sleep at the most. The cost for that visit was $250 + $45 for a 45 minute interview. Upon attending the first class conducted by Ruth, It became immediately clear that she was not teaching anything that a person doesn't either already know, or can learn by attending free meetings. It became an effort in patience to show up every Wednesday knowing that I would be wasting so much of my time. Ruth will spend the first 30 minutes just collecting payments, while I sat there, in a folding chair, with leathery looking old men and women packed like sardines around me. Then she would plop a board of feelings on the floor and ask everyone to pick words that described their mood. After that there is a fifteen minute break, in case you didn't already wreak of an ashtray, you can reapply the stink. During this time she conducts unsupervised urine tests and collects credit cards for those who didn't bring cash. The second hour is dialogue and joking between the participants while Ruth barely manages to instill some lesson that sounds like it came from the Brady Bunch. All in all, this was one of the worst experience of my life. My review is long, but I actually shortened it to a length I think you'll read. I ended up doing six weeks of classes before PURPOSELY ceasing to attend. The reason for this was that I would rather have my day in court, risking up to 60 days of jail, than go to another one of Mack Jacobs' dishonest, money grubbing, elitist, waste of time classes. I took my day in court and had all charges dropped, in no small way due to my description to the judge of what these "classes" are. Mack Jacobs is a condescending fraud living on the money of people who actually work, Poor sweet dumb Ruth is a clueless cog in extorting the money from people who can't afford it. They shouldn't be allowed to council someone on what socks to wear, let alone a group of people with medical problems!

Mac Jacobs only cares about his money. I really needed help and he made snide remarks the entire time. Worst counselor I've ever had in my life.
