Every one of their people there on Sunday were useless. The lady was out right rude, as if we were interupting her. "What do you need". We brought in three plant clippings. Two of were weeds that they couldn't identify and couldnt really suggest how to rid of them. The other a bush that we were looking for more of or similar. They also had no idea either and just pointed toward an area on the property. Useless. . .

Troy's Tropics went out of their way to help me purchase what was needed for my back courtyard! I have times when I can't leave my villa due to some symptoms related to the military. I sent a message to Troy asking him if he could help me buy two 20" blue ceramic planters, two trees, dirt, and deliver it all to my villa. He literally went around taking a bunch of photos of all the planters he had that matched my description as well as different palm trees for me to choose from!!! I made my purchase last night from my couch and my palms and their beautiful planters were delivered, planted, and put in my courtyard by an incredibly hard worker named Kyle! I am not fond of people coming to my home to do work (anxiety attacks), but Kyle made it incredibly easy and I didn't have to even go outside to meet him! As a disabled veteran, the service they provided means more than they can ever know. I HIGHLY recommend this company that will so kindly go out of their way to take care of a customer!!! (In the attached photos, those are paint sample stickers for the painting I am having done in the Fall...I know it looks weird...)

Today we had our backyard completely landscaped with the help of Daniel, Mike, Mike and Jason. They did an outstanding job. From start to finish we were exceptionally pleased. They were professional, knowledgeable and helpful. They were on time and worked the entire day. They made recommendations and comments that were very helpful. I would like to inform you of this beautiful place call Troy Tropics in Sarasota Florida, this nursery has the best looking fruit trees I have ever seen or purchase. But less not forget the best customer service. I would like to thank Joy Tilley for her wonderful customer service she has given me when emailing her, it has been the best ever. Well look at my Wurtz avocado on the right hand side and my Brogden on the left had side. Purchase this two avocados fruit tree from them in a 7 gallon and now they are in a 15 gallon and looking wonderful. Thank you Joy for all your customer service at Troy tropics in Sarasota Florida. Will continue purchasing from them, I like to mention that I have purchase from them as well this other rare fruit trees like lychees and longan. Thank you for your wonderful service Best regards.

Sorry for the delay, we don't carry bulbs due to the heavy rains we get in the summer. Here are some florida iris to consider, African yellow, African white, Regina iris and agapanthus all do well here and flower 3to4 months out of the year. Hope this helps!

English ivy tends to get root rot in this zone . Currently we are out of bamboo palms. We do have an entire greenhouse that is devoted to shade plants!

I don't work at Troy's but they have a huge selection so I'm betting they do have heliconia. Be aware heliconia is very aggressive it will take over your entire garden! Bet on it.
My desert rose was doing great. Then one day, I noticed it was bare. When I went up close, it was covered with some kind of caterpillar which had almost eaten every sign of life on the poor plant. That was several months ago, and I'm still trying to nurse it back to health. Maybe that's what happened to your plant.

It appears you have asked this question twice but phrased differently. Last time we checked we are competitively priced with other nurseries in the area so could you give a specific example? We have always believed in bringing in quality plant material as opposed to poorly grown cheap material. We prefer to have our plants flourish in our customers gardens than to immediately decline due to poor, mass growing conditions just to save a dollar. When plants come into our nursery from our growers we immediately inspect them for any flaws or insect, disease signs and reject what is not in prime condition. Upon receiving plants we use a safe and effective pre-emergent to eliminate the possibility of weeds sprouting up in the containers, we dont believe in sending home a customer with unwanted weeds to go along with their healthy, vibrant plants. Hope that helps and please give an example of what you found so we can help you further! Just remember we are not a wholesale grow
