A truly wonderful experience. I have been twice with my family now and both times were phenomenal. For us, the 1.5 hour trail ride is perfect. Not too long, not too short, gorgeous views of the Knik river/mountains, and riding on the beach/through the water/wooded forests. The guides are so kind and patient and the horses are sweet and easy to ride because they are so well-trained (they just like to munch sometimes but who doesn't? :). You will not regret adding this to your agenda, whether you live here or are just visiting! (Also, don't forget to tip your guide...and your horse with a carrot or an apple - super fun!)

Great afternoon! Enjoyed my ride with the guide and her dogs! The horses were great and the scenery amazing. Good communication prior to the ride and instruction during the ride. I felt safe though I had not ridden before (I don't count the neighbor's pony when I was 13). Thanks for a wonderful experience!

This was awesome we ride every time we go on vacation and by far I enjoyed this excursion the most. The views were beautiful, the horses friendly, and the guide was awesome! Thx for a wonderful time.

My partner and I had THE BEST TIME at the all day adventure which included horseback riding, floating, and atv-ing! I'm not as comfortable on horses, so they put me on a tried & true horse and I loved it! Next time I visit, I plan on doing the horse portion again because those views were out of this world.

Questions & Answers

Do we need to reserve a spot for a couple? Or may we just show up & go? How much advance can we reserve a horse back riding? What works best..

It is best to reserve a spot. You should give at least a day's notice for best results.

Hi. I am getting ready to book our trip to Alaska next year. Do you have lodging on the premises? And is June a good month to visit?

There is no lodging, and yes June is a good time for Alaska.
