Not the most organized or cleanest Giant. Some staff are friendly, others not so much. Not located in a particularly good/safe area. It's okay to run in and grab a few things, but I prefer other locations to do actual "list" grocery shopping.

I call this the ghetto market. Had only 3 The Self check out lines open. One was broken.… the old employee lady had another customer cut in front of me. When I asked well what’s wrong with the third self check out register..? The employee said, someone is using it. Unless she was seeing a invisible ghost you might wanna call ghostbusters, cause I ain’t see another customer standing there. Then wait until the last minute and wanna used her employee card to void the item out….I will be going to the Catonsville giants for now on at least they have respectful employee’s who greets you and don’t act like they’re extra slow.

Schmidty’s Kettle Corn

I went there on a Saturday evening. The self check out line was down the street. The cashier line for actual cashiers was even farther. A few blocks away. A few blocks away at a very busy time for the store. It's really sad that we have these retail stores making money hand and foot everyday, and they can only afford to pay 2 people at the check out lines as cashiers? We then wonder why companies are having trouble hiring employees and keeping them? With large crowds and knowing when to hire more staff you'd think they'd care about their store but they don't and it shows. I used to go to Giant. I have however gone to alternatives. Like Lidle, and Aldi. Lastly. My favorite brand of burritos was normally around $3 for 8 burritos, small and nice for a meal to make quickly. They are now $10 at Giant. The price increases at Giant were noticeable and some price increases were almost double or triple the actual prices. If I knew those price increases were going to hire wages, and friendlier staff and more employees I'd continue shopping there. However, every time I go to Giant they more and more lose me as a continuing customer.
