Incredible experience at The Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay! From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch - everyone was very attentive and helpful. I bugged Wesley quite a few times and he was so nice about it! All the ladies at the spa were so pleasant, Maria, in particular. I book a massage with Stephanie and that was seriously one of the best massages everβ¦ and Iβve had massages at other Ritz locations and have massage therapists in my family. π Lastly, the food was SPOT ON! Every single dish we ordered was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. This might sound ridiculous, but the shining star of our entire stay was the Chia Seed Pudding. I could seriously eat that every morning. The resort is absolutely stunning, the golf course is great and the hospitality was premiumβ¦ I canβt think of a single critique. Thereβs a certain expectation when staying at a Ritz-Carlton and Half Moon Bay exceeded them all. A must-experience!

Went to the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay, CA expecting to be pampered. I was not disappointed (with one exception) Customer service was excellent at every turn. Every member of the staff greeted me at every encounter, including in just passing in the halls. Enjoyed using the spa but was unable to book a massage :( The concierge took care of all my wishes, from dinner reservations to local recommendations. The cool sea breeze and sound of the surf was very relaxing. Dinner at Navio's was great, my steak was excellently aged and cooked to perfection. Cost seemed high at 1st glance but as I took into account all the staff from valets & housekeeping, hosts/hostesses, spa & pool personnel, including the friendly groundskeepers and event staff, everyone of them ready to make my stay pleasant and relaxing, I feel it was worth it. I will certainly stay at the Ritz again.

I was there as a speaker for a conference at Ritz on May 6 . My room was upgraded by the conference host to a guest house. At night, tried to shower and suddenly the water went completely cold... there was NO Hot water!!! & it was a room with air conditioner preset at a pretty low temperate. Called front desk from room to tell them about the lack of hot water, and I was then put on hold by front desk for 10 minutes... so I hanged up.. Called again and again and again from both house phone and also my cellphone (calling the hotel #).... NO one answer... just ring and ring and no one picked up. Probably they knew that people were calling about the hot water. The guest house was 8 minutes walk to the lobby so I decided to stay warm by going to bed.... no one ever call back to apologize nor said anything about the hot water despite I called about the issue. in the morning, the hot water seemed to be back. terrible experience...

Came here for a conference and it was a wonderful place to stay. Spectacular views, large and well-appointed rooms, friendly & helpful staff, and, of course, amazing views. Take time to enjoy a walk along the coast and warm up at one of the fire pits in the evening. The food is great here, too with lots of healthy options. Every area has fresh flowers placed throughout the property.

Yes, but you have to pay for parking
Yes!
You need to ask at front desk if possible!!
No! It's separate It's not affiliated with Ritz-Carlton
The bagpiper starts about an hour before sunset in the front of the hotel where the valet parking is. He works his way around the hotel and ends up on the patio where the fire pits are for sunset. You can follow him around the property on his journey. Definitely say hello to him, he's a nice guy with lots of interesting stories.
YES! Reservations required. $199 per person.
I want to know if I can bring my dog - 100 lb Chesapeake Bay Retriever - sweetest dog ever.
You can do in room dining anytime, and they have great breakfast options for that. They will show up with a table setup.
Ive stayed in the main hotel a few times and its just like any other Ritz Carlton...but I now only stay at the Ritz Carlton Guest Houses...its around the corner from the main hotel, tucked away near the tennis courts...VERY peaceful and all ground floor rooms have a fire-pit...(two story condo type room)..each one-level however...you drive up to your own room and unload the walk right into you guest-house room...
There is valet parking available.. so visitors can ride right upto the curb
Check before going.....usually do but with renovations only doing lunch in the atrium. And the bar downstairs has a limited menu
