cool, there's a bunch of ravens and other birds. You shouldn't swim in the water unless you know exactly what you're doing. There's dangerous waves and other stuff that's written on signs. There was a sea lion literally swimming 3 FEET FROM THE SHORE, and that was AMAZING. You DO have to pay to park, but that's not an issue. there's also RV camping there.

Came back for 2nd time to finish the other half of the Coastal Trail. It was really enjoyable with a breathtaking view of the Half Moon Bay. There are multiple small beaches a long the trail which can be easily accessible with little hike, the reward will be beyond especially during Covid 19 pandemic because everyone will have enough space for social distancing and still enjoy the sea. The trail has mix of dirt, paved, under trees shaded, up and down hill. Will come back here again just for hiking in a near future. Parking cost is $10 and traffic little troublesome depend on the time u heading there though

Big parking lot near campground. Easy find available table with BBQ grill, but there are not trees, no shadow to hide from hot sun.
