Loved it . I finally found a true church with moral values. Very conservative church. Like when my grandmother use to take me to church in 🇲🇽. Traditional mass 🙏

I attended the Latin mass for the first time. It was beautiful, and the atmosphere was really peaceful. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to return to this beautiful church ❤

TLDR: This is a conservative Catholic parish practicing Mass in Latin. A beautiful, small church nestled among modern office buildings just north of the Ontario Airport and along the East-West railroad tracks. San Secondo's history is tied to the vineyard activity in the Inland Empire during the turn of the 20th Century. Named after Saint Secundus, the church was built by Mr. and Mrs. Secondo Guasti "to resemble the 17th century structure from his village in Asti, Italy," says their website. "In 1924, the Guasti family brought woodworkers and stonemasons from Mexico and Italy to build the church. It was completed in 1926 and dedicated on October 3, 1926, by Bishop John J. Cantwell of Los Angeles," it further says. Attending a Mass in Latin is an experience for those who are used to post-Vatican II parishes. Here, the priest stands facing the altar with his back to parishioners. Altar boys ring the bells to signal when to kneel and what is happening during the Mass. The pews are very "historic" with straight backs, an aisle down the center, and narrow space between the next pew. Masses are very well attended so if you want a seat, without climbing over people, then arrive early. Spillover fills the front patio/entrance area where there are folding chairs and a speaker. Parishioners' attire is dressy and conservative with women in long dresses wearing veils over their heads and men in suits. However, I've not seen anyone insist nor exclude women who don't wear veils. Do not attend in inappropriate clothing (see their website for guidance). For an old-world, Catholic experience, San Secondo d'Asti Catholic Church is the place.

Adorable church. Disappointed that office wasn't open like the sign said. Would have loved to learn more about it's history and to verify Latin mass schedule . Will definitely plan to visit again. 😊

Father Marx is the Saint of Guasti.
You choose, the Priest has no authority to dictate how you receive Our Lord.
Yes the bread only
There is no table altar, so even if they offer Mass in the ordinary form it will be ad orientem. And they use the kneeling rail.
It is canonically recognized by the Diocese of San Bernardino and belongs to it only.
It ends at 7pm when 7pm mass starts. They changed the time at the beginning of the year.

I was told they will post it on the church's website.
Best to check with your parish or diocese.
There's also a 5 p.m. vigil mass besides the Midnight Mass. Keep in mind it's a very traditional catholic church wear your Sunday best
