I donated whole blood on a Friday morning in January '22. Staff was kind and helpful. I felt good about the safety of donating blood here. In and out in under an hour and parking is ample.

In my experience (and my family's experience) the phlebotomists here are patient, kind, polite, and skilled. I tend to feel lightheaded and nauseous after donating, and every time I donate they let me stay as long as I need to recuperate. One star subtracted because there is often a wait time to be seen here, even when you have an appointment and RapidPass.

I am a youth volunteer and I am a part of the youth executive board at this chapter. If there is anything I can say is that everyone here works hard and I feel very welcomed every time I walk in. I get along with the adults and the youth in which I have no problem with. I am thankful for being part of this organization.

Extremely slow! Seems very unorganized. Was the first person in after the doors opened and it's been 35 minutes and only one person has been helped. They are not ready to be seeing people. One person with an appointment for platelets- they couldn't find her file. What an incredible waste of our time. I might look for another location! 😟

Depending on the location some open at 8:30 am and some don't open until the afternoon. Check the Red Cross website.
Sometimes, please check with the American Red Cross for current promotions.
Red Cross doesn't pay. They might have a free t-shirt or something every now and then, but that's about it
Nothing, it is a donation. You do get free cookies and juice and good karma
Thx u guys
I don't know, Call the Red Cross and ask...
Red cross. Only accept. Cash, check, credit card only we don't accept cloth or anything. See it takes. Time to sort or anything.
1. Appointments are not needed but you might end up waiting a little while if it's busy. 2. Anyone over 18 is eligible to donate. When you arrive you will be asked to read a booklet that lists diseases, medicines, and histories that would make you inelgigible. They will also check your vitals to make sure you are healthy enough to donate. 3. I'm not sure.
It's free to donate blood and platelets if you're not deferred based on American Red Cross' donor's guidelines.
Yes they will let you know what type of blood you have by 2nd donation
No. If you are diabetic no. But age limit to donate Is 17 at donanner center But at Schools is,16 with parent conscience.
I am not sure who if anyone is collecting clothes for the hurricane victims. You might want to call around to some of the local churches to see if they know. They have a big need for blood.and platelets if your up for a blood donation!
