This church feeds the homeless and poor every Sunday, except the month of July, from 12:30 until 3-ish. Very lovely people. The first Sunday of the month a nurse comes to check on us and help with minor issues.

Beautiful contemperary architecture. The preaching session is nice. Ive been here once but i love the atmosphere. Plus, this is a very old church with rich history. I love this kind of places.

I posed that question to Senior Minister Elena Larssen of First Congregational Church, and this is her response: Our church services always contain scripture and teaching of scripture, as do our children's and adult's classes; we value the historical critical method, which explores the context of the stories and texts, as well as looking for the ways that the metaphors and lessons of the Bible can enlighten us for today's challenges and realities.
