This is responding to Kujo Wolf who clearly doesn’t know what they’re talking about. I was shopping that day and I saw that he picked up a reusable bag that the store sells and began putting stuff in it and it’s clear he’s done this before since the manager told him he wasn’t allowed there anymore after the first incident. I was there again today and that bum was stealing again. The cashier and manager confronted him and he went off on them acting like he was the victim when he was stealing in the first place.

You-Earn Respect

I have shopped in this store only 1 time. Oh it was not a happy day. I can't speak for the staff as I did not have interaction other than to pay and leave. BUT.......the store, when I visited, which was NOT during a holiday and sadly it was unbelievably messy. When I make that description please understand there were items that had fallen on floor and left, bins were full of mixed items not related, the overall atmosphere was not welcoming or bright. It's almost difficult to pin point just one thing. I've been in numerous Dollar Trees in Orange County, LA County, Riverside & San Bernardino counties. Most were well organized and clean. There were a few in need of freshing up, but I don't live there, I'm in OC. I would highly recommend the store add some shelves in front with BRIGHTLY covered items. The store it self seemed darker than usual so maybe if when walking in, the visual would catch a customers eye. Maybe I'm just wierd, Lord knows I can be, but when I shop I tend to fall into a more normal personna. OK Dollar Tree, show us what you can do to brighten up, lighten up and freshen up a customers first impression. Just like buying a home, first impressions are eveything. Do we want to stay a while and spend our money or go to another store? Make us want to return. Sadly I had to deduct 2 stars. 1 for not organized and 1 for lacking visual impact.

This location is interesting as it's right in the middle of a tourist area. The few times I've ran in, the employees have been friendly, and things were relatively organized. It's a fairly large location, so there is a lot of potential for the store, but I find they do not get in as much variety of products as many other surrounding stores. I wouldn't go out of my way to go to another store if I needed to run in for anything, but I know now to expect to find too many gems here.
