The automated "help" system is hopeless. When, finally, I sought to get a call-back, it told me that it did not understand me and that my (only) request had exceeded my number of requests allowed. Still cannot get through to them.

Interviewed for this company. Human Resource was rude, telling me I didn’t have the qualifications yet there are reviews saying they have incompetent workers/employees. I seriously wanted to make use of my education and skills and the HR was unprofessional. I plan to sue this company-and to think they were promoting diversity and inclusion. They even went o our school to recruit and that was in a community college. I had a post baccalaureate degree and a license. They normally give out exams so I was surprised when I received an email from one of their “hr analysts” saying that I failed to pass their basic requirement when I have more than just basic and industry experience. They have a certain culture- they don’t like eager candidates! They didn’t like scholars and diversity then, I thought. I even expressed clearly my keen interest to join their organization to improve on the services and water quality. They hated that. My GPA is 4.0. And the HR even told me to re-apply after rejecting such a clean and well-expressed and thought-out application. I told my colleagues in the academia about it and they re-assured me that it’s good I didn’t get that job. A machine operator gets paid $$$$$ more than the scientists or chemists??! I was appalled. These government agencies and affiliates need to be audited heavily, it’s who they like and know here. Nothing wrong with being a machine operator but to maintain the water quality, safety and standards you need a licensed chemist not just licensed from the state of California!!! To get a license as a chemist from a federal level, you have to pass a board exam!!! Talk about ignorant hiring hierarchy. Disturbing and corrupt I should say. Here, it’s who you know or be related to someone to get in or from a certain demographic, from what I heard to get the job. Wow. I moved on since then (working on a research project for a cancer gene that has not been studied yet but can be used as a target for drug discovery), but I just thought I’d leave this review for people who are looking for a great working environment, with talented people who are passionate about science and education and are seeking job opportunities especially during this pandemic. I am on the fence of becoming a teacher too in this country but because of the way they shun well-deserving students and professionals, something’s gotta change! Housing development is another agency that’s been corrupt! And for whatever it’s worth-you don’t have to be a certain SKIN COLOR OR RACE, if you have the skills and education, certifications and passion or simply the willingness to learn, why not? And as for methodology, chromatography is a broad application but they have the same principle of separation, just different phases used but same principle! My God, what happened to education here in California, brain drain!

They have the worst online platform I've ever seen. Seriously, in 2020, how can your digital platform be such a mess? Why is it more difficult to pay my bill online than it was five years ago? That being said they do have the best drinking water in the bay area.

Depends on if it's in your home or on public property. Check out this link for more info: https://www.ebmud.com/customers/billing-questions/leaks-and-high-bills/water-leaks-frequently-asked-questions/
Please use "Contact Us" @ www.ebmud.com.
City of Hayward has its own water system so they maintain a majority of Hayward. There are some parts that are still covered by ebmud in Hayward in some cases.
Absolutely not. "Reclaimed Water" is only used for industrial purposes like at the Chevron refinery. Drinking water is exclusively sourced from the Sierra snow caps, and pulled all the way from Camanche Reservoir.
Ebmud is probably the better one to ask, what I will say is I've only received excellent customer service from them myself . Blue indeed will answer your question
If you don't see the option to change billing address on the website, simply call ebmud they'll walk you through it or do it for you.
