Nice location away from all the beaches and with only about a dozen spaces, we were away from all the usual beach traffic. Manager Mark was very accommodating.

It’s almost impossible to get a reservation here and I’m a local! Leaving multiple voicemail messages, knocking on the door of the hosts trailer multiple times at various times of the day. I live in an RV park here in town where we’re required to move out for 24 hours twice a year. I’ve called and knocked every time I need to do a move out for 2 years and have never even received a call back. Not a great way to do business. Hard to understand what tge big problem of calling a person back to say yes or no could be!

I was actually on a walk through Arana Gulch and down to the harbor. Found a nice bench in front of the RV park. I'd never noticed it was there. I had never seen all the spots full Is why I didn't know it was a RV park. Everything you need is there and your at the harbor in Santa Cruz. Location, location, location. *All photos were taken in Arana Gulch by *Leah Taylor*

Great place !! Host is very friendly and knowledgeable. About a 3/4 mile walk to the beach and well worth it, restaurants on the beach are really good. Dog park across the harbor up the stairs with friendly people and pets. We will definitely be back.

Leave a message and someone will call you back. We played phone tag about 5 or 6 times before we finally were able to make reservations. Good luck!
It is a small Park and overseen by the harbor disrrict. Leave a message and they will call you back. I've made reservations there three times and it worked just fine.
Check @ the harbor RV park. They don't answer phones....there will be a board listing vacancies if there are any....good luck !!!!
The rate is $55. per nite. Includes water, sewer and 20, 30, or 50A electric service.
There are restrooms and showers but they are for slip renters only. They are usually locked. There are public restrooms about a 10-15 min walk away near The Crow's Nest restaurant at the lower harbor.
Leave a message they will call you back. Make sure if you reserve you get a site number before you go. Read my post in reviews for why.
We arrived 15 min early and no one was there and our reservation spot number was not on the board so we chose an empty spot and went to our memorial. 30 min later the person in charge called us and said we had to come back to move our RV to the proper spot right NOW! I had to leave the memorial and walk back 25 min to move it and ended up missing an hour of our 2 hour time round trip. The spots are all the same I dont know what difference it made which one we are in. Very disappointed.
Only 12 spots and it wasn't convenient for our travels. Don't know about tents.
I agree with the answer to call ahead. Sometimes the on-site host will let you check in early.
Call the harbor Master my boat is near the 7th Street ramp I can check when I get back in about an hour
I think they have a 7 day limit
I agree, give them a call. There is a big public parking lot but I don't think it can accommodate any bigger than a medium Class C
It's just for the RV, it's not an RV park just about a dozen sort of car parks, is okay tho, no facilities, just Ac power, you could park your boat right next to your RV tho as long as it's not a massive launch
I believe that it is self-contained vehicle's only.
You have to have hookups since there's no restrooms.
Nope. Keep trying. They are booked months out.
Call for reservations, $52 per night. I believe there is a 7 day limit. A great location tho....
I believe it's around $50
It is definitely walkable...parking @ the Boardwalk is expensive....
Yes, you should get a space long enough for your rig which will give you plenty of room to park your tow-behind car beside it. If not, there is over flow parking at the end of the harbor. (For extra fee!)
They have daily rates monthly subleases and monthly full-time leases
