Yes, at the Van Nuys Airport Observation Area, located off Woodley Ave at the end of an alley called Waterman Drive, open to the public from 8:00 AM to dusk.
The air shows ended because thousands of attendees would park on neighbor’s driveways and lawns. The old air show location is gone, it has a new fire station and helicopter facility. There is still an occasional open house event at various locations in the airport.
