Just sharing the awesome experience I had here at the spectrum location in Van Nuys I was assisted by Veronica and Harold today, even though there was a bit of a wait time they did have water out for customers, and checking on them. Just fyi if you guys come here it’s best to make reservations but keep in mind it’s a retail store location not fast food, but I left happy today and was definitely worth the wait leaving with their mobile service going from paying $114 at metro now pay paying $77 for two brand new phones including service thank you Veronica for your patience with us and our questions.

The worst at this location. Waited 2 hours. No bathroom, had to sit outside to wait my turn. I have proof of wait time: signed in@ 1:38-my turn was texted @ 3:42. Terrible!!!

69.99 for only internet is ridicules went in to see if they could do anything about my bill being so expensive was unable to do anything unless I got phone service also. I have never missed a payment always on time and they are unwilling to help me in any way. ILL BE MOVING PROVIDERS. ASAP. Oh one more thing the store I went to all the employees where standing around talking and on there phones not helping anyone.

This afternoon I was serviced at this location by Sylvester or Silvester. Not a good place. Very slow service. Employees disappear in the back for a long time. Soo apparently you cannot pay off a device in store unless your account or plan is on the upgraded new 2.0 which is absolutely ridiculous. First time I ever heard such a thing about not being able to pay off a mobile Device Not sure if they were overwhelmed with the amount of customers in the store or what. So because they did not want me to pay my device off in store or couldn’t give me any good reasoning. His next response was for me to call 611 or the support team. Then acquired once It’s paid off will the device be unlocked. He claimed that the device has to be paid off for 6 months then after it’s unlocked. Or 6 months of service. Which I know is absurd !!! No carrier does things like that. Max is 72 hours or so. Also called the 611 number they also said that the store should be able to take device payments in store. I mean they take mobile cable internet payments in store why wouldn’t they take a payment for device. Please Spectrum train your staff properly and if they don’t know have they contact the on-site supervisor. Cancelling lines and services with them immediately!

What I don't like is that on TV they say only 54.99 and then when they send you the invoice they charge you $85 because they are charging you the box, that is, they charge everything
If you go to spectrum online you can find customer services phone number and other different ways to contact them
Remote controls are free, just go into the office and exchange or ask for a new one

Spectrum, like most service providers, charge OUTRAGEOUS prices for a la carte Internet-only service. Nobody can tell you how much "internet-only" costs b/c you can order anywhere from 5Mbs download speed, up to 1,000 Mbs (1Gbs), depending upon your location. Just know that they've got you by the $#@*s. They price it so high a la carte, it will feel like price-gouging. People don't realize just how much these Internet Service Providers (ISPs) can act with such impunity over consumers! They "own" Congress, the FCC, most State regulators, etc. Look what happened to Net Neutrality: the ISPs wanted it. TENs of Millions of consumers didn't. The new FCC chairman was the chief Corp lawyer for... Verizon! The owners of the largest structure of the Internet "backbone" in USA! How do I know all this? I used to work for: 1) Verizon & 2) TWC (Spectrum)! They are the WORST!
Yes you can return and exchange equipment there, just go there early to avoid a long wait. Its also their main office. If you are closer to the city of san fernando go to their glenoaks and hubbard location. You will always be next in line because they dont advertise this location. Its always empty.
