This is a delightful small trail in the woods of Jessamine County, KY. Basically a nature preserve. Trails are well maintained. Summertime offers flowers, butterflies and other niceties. It’s an easy hike and easy to get to.

I believe the creek is nice but dangerous with the slick rocks. Probably why there's a no pet policy here. We just followed the loop trail. And then followed a parallel footpath which is at the end of the loop too the right On a slight descent slope that gains angle down as you go. It's about a 1,000 feet total but worth it. You might not think that going back up it though lol. Your reward will be a beautiful view of the Kentucky river and the rocky walls that cradle her. Follow the slight game trail to the left , and there was the pay off. A beautiful spot where the shallow river gets to 6' deep in an area of 500'. The water was so clear and welcoming I went skinny dipping, felt like nobody had been there before. If you pack it in pack it out please. Mother Nature and I beg of you.

Far enough away from society to feel like a true hike. Had been looking for a trail like this one since moving up from Southeast KY years ago. Glad we finally gave it a try. Didn't end up finding the waterfall, just enjoyed wading the creek and taking in the views. Will be back very soon!

Amazing all around. The drive to the trail entrance is gorgeous with quaint farms on either side of the country road. It's a short walk to the creek with a bridge going over it. Take a right at the bridge to travel down the creekside to the sky high waterfall. It takes about 30 minutes to reach the waterfall, and the trek can be wet/slippery/muddy. It's nature immersion. At the top of the falls there are some unique rock formations. To the right of the top of the falls you'll find the footpath down as well as ropes to hold onto. While the waterfall is technically off limits, you'll probably see several other groups of people making the same trek there or back. Great local beauty.

It clearly states on the website that no pets allowed.
No reservations. No place to sign in either.
You can get in the creek but be careful it is slippery and you should wear shoes.
We never made it. It was overgrown with poison ivy. But after you make it to the creek. You cross it and its a straight climb up.
I'm not sure. If its a nature preserve you CANNOT take anything from it. If its just a park I think you can.
No u can walk down it in the water all the way to the falls
The parking lot of expanded with gravel and is quite apparent now. It's directly across from the entrance. The satellite image is out of date. I just uploaded photos which I hope help.
