Humph.... So I have a mixed review on this one. So I haven't been to movie tavern since it was located on Richmond road in Lexington. Which was a while ago...(don't judge me) However, I do feel like the facility is nice the theater is very spacious and the recliners are awesome!! My only complaint would be ordering on the app. It takes a while and then I wasn't able to order certain items and I had to go to the bar area to order. The wings that we ordered was pretty good they needed to be cooked a little bit longer even after I put that on my special instructions they still wasn't. However they was edible. The loaded fries were Great and the pepsi was good and strong.I will go back again and update this review hopefully the app will work better next time🤞🏾🤞🏾

We really enjoy going there. But maybe due to lack of business during Covid or not, you can see signs of wear on the recliners. Hopefully they'll take care of this as business picks up. Really good service and the food is not bad!

Sadly the place is not the novelty it once was. You have to use the app to order food... Except the app is unusable. $70.00 for two meals and popcorn and the food was ice cold. The rattle from the metal railings every time the speakers would rumble at all was horribly distracting. The theater was NOT clean at all. Used to love this place, but we will stick to other cinemas.

It's a fun place to go but I think it's a little pricey myself. The food is great, the theater's are amazing and comfortable. But the food prices are similar to like an Applebee's or something similar. Definitely a place to go when you want to go someplace nice and different.

They are wide open. They are following Covid protecol, as seats are spaced, food delivered to your seat via an online ordering system while at the theatre, and make being worn. We took 8 folks in our group.

The movies that are offered are based on what's popular at that time. They don't always have fringe movies or limited releases, but much of the movie selection is identical to other local theaters. If you're unhappy with the movie selection, that likely has more to do with what's being released at the time.
