Worst Cracker Barrel experience ever. The food was good but nothing else. After telling the manager what was wrong, he fired the waitress. Nothing I saw was her fault, it was management. No clean silverware for her to bring to the table. Salad was too bad to serve. Not enough corn bread and biscuits to fulfill the order. Definitely won't be back to this restaurant.

Our server was courteous, & quick. The food was great. Checkout was another story. I had a digital coupon, the cashier, did not know how to scan it, went for help, found someone, that someone said oh it's easy I'll show you. Well someone needs to show her, it didn't scan right, I told the cashier it wasn't right, she looked new, didn't know what yo do, the line was even more backed up, and I just gave in and said don't worry about it. Sigh.....

Having worked in the service industry, I was honestly impressed at how incompetent the manager on duty was. Truly it takes talent to be able to continuously (literally all she did the entire time) scan the floor and not realize that a 5 top waited for over 20 minutes for drinks at a dead point in the night. We were also seated directly across from where she was standing, eye contact was made multiple times. I believe her name was Abby. Our server also broke down after the meal and let us know that she was suppose to be in training and was thrown on the floor with no experience. Our food took a good hour and half to finally come, and it was ice cold. This type of management sets servers up to fail and is ruining the industry.

The waitress was great, but that was it. It took the food 45 minutes to come out - we got to the table shortly after 5pm so not exactly peak hours and the place was not full up. One order of catfish was borderline raw, and the baked potatoes came out after everything else because they were “coming out of the oven.” They weren’t hot enough to melt the butter on them, so I doubt that. A manager was supposed to come talk to us, but never made an appearance and just discounted the fish and potato. But the tickets were separate and they put the discounts on the wrong tickets. Definitely won’t be back. Very poor customer service from the kitchen and a managerial standpoint.
