The doctors are nice the nurses are rude and unsympathetic. Literally waited 5 hour for an xray the doctor ordered. Not once did the nurse check on me then got mad when I went to get water and use restroom. Nurse said she assumed I didn't want medical treatment after 5 hours waiting of course I want treatment. Never again worst than Harbor didn't think it was possible

easy experience. in and out. no long wait times. covid measures set in place before entering. great parking. tons of staff available to help you if you are in need of assistance with anything.

The only reason it’s getting any stars at all from me is because the security guards were amazing!! I came in for a miscarriage scare. During the ultrasound I got a panic attack and said I wish it were over. I meant the panic attack !!! They put me on watch (hence the security guards) to wait for a social worker. Being in small rooms in the hospital caused my anxiety and I have been waiting for the social worker for 6 hours now!!! She still is not coming and they will not let me go because she has to clear me. I am beyond angry at this point!!! Idk what to do. I get they are trying to be sure I’m not going to hurt myself but come on!!! 6 hours!!!

This is the food the hospital served my daughter. BTW, My daughter can't have milk. They put milk on the tray everyday breakfast, lunch and dinner. They called this meal chipped Italian meatballs. I'm Italian and I never heard of such a thing. My daughter is a little girl not a convicted felon. This food is not a one off, all the food they are serving their patients look terrible and taste worse. Well when they get their food. Yes, they are so screwed up they forget the patients food. You be the judge?

it depends what part of the hospital you are at. at the PICU there is a one person shower for men and another separate one person shower for women, these 2 showers are for the visitors (parents of the patient) you wont see just anyone use them, also if you have a child there ask for the Ronald Mcdonald house and you can take showers on a normal shower just like at home.
They don't sell them, they have them on hand in case mom doesn't have one yet
Is it good
You will get your own room..most likely..i had my own and was in a 2 patient room before.
Yes, in fact me, the grandma, and the husband stayed in the room
In the peds ward, yes. However there is only one chair/cot
As far as I know children are allowed to visit their sick friends or relatives with adult supervision. But they might not be allowed to visit patients in the intensive care unit because that is a sterile area. To make sure call them at the phone number listed here or go speak to someone at the reception area. Good luck!
Yes
Yed
I would ask one of the nurses or doctors.
Hospital is open 24 hrs visiting hours are 9:00 am to 9:00 p.m
Yes sleep. happiness
I think they can look in your mouth, if there's an abscess they will prescribe antibiotics. I don't know if they have a dentist. I would bet that after the antibiotics they would refer you to a clinic that can work with you if it's a cavity or root canal that's needed. Good luck, I had tooth pain that was horrible when I didn't have insurance. It was a nightmare tracking down anyone who could help me. I ended up going to UCLA dental school for a low cost procedure.
Why you don't try to be volunteer in CHLA is the better hospital for me and all the time have volunteers..
Right now is flu season. No children under 14 can be there. Your husband is fine.
I never met anyone who has had that, I guess that depends alot on your body aswell and how it reacts to anesthesia, not just on the hospital. as for brain monitors well it is a hospital and if you mean an EEG yes they do, as a matter of fact my son arrived here at the ER with traumatic brain injury and was unresponsive, they monitored his brain 24/7 gave him CT scans MRIs was monitored with EEG had a display with all these lines that represented his brain activity and did a wonderful job keeping his brain good to heal and today he is up, walking and talking as if nothing happened. Also even I had a sleep analysis here and they monitored my brain activity while i slept.
I had 3 people and it depends on nurse and dr
Depending ... If you talk about going because you or someone else feel bad you can go because they have an emergency service there but if you talk about visiting someone sick then no. You have your visiting hours. You could call the hospital and ask exactly the visiting hours
They Are in back of the door
I believe the question might be regarding how old a child needs to be in order to visit their sibling, who is ill. You're welcome.
Yes
I think you are trying to ask how many pills of benadril are you supposed to give a child? I think you are supposed to give him only 1 but to make sure I strongly suggest that you call the phone number listed on this map and ask to speak to a registered nurse. They should know the doses for most medications. Good luck to you and I sincerely hope that they give you the correct answer very soon.
I would suggest that you go directly to the hospital's main office and talk to someone there or go to their website, or call them for more information. Good luck!
