One of 5 stores in Elko NV. Great food choices and the store is very neat at every visit. Prices are a little higher than some of the other stores. Overall it’s 3 on my list.

Raley's asked me to produce I.D. before they would check my groceries today. The checker's name was Tex or Rex - glasses and wearing a black mask and said she has to see I.D. for my purchase of alcohol. I was buying a beverage that was 0.0 ALCOHOL FREE and I had a lot of other groceries as well but she stood there nastily staring at me until I produced my driver's license. She wasn't nice or cordial about it but rude and condescending. I told her I wasn't buying alcohol - the drink specified on the label: 0.0 alcohol. Albertans's, Walmart, Smiths and Khoury's has never carded me for the exact same purchase. And times when I have purchased actual alcohol beverages somewhere else - they were efficient and respectful. This is not the first time I've had problems with horrid checkers on a multitude of issues. Rex or Tex seemed more interested and focused on joking and talking with the next customer in line which was obviously her friend. I would caution anyone thinking of patronizing this store - the prices are the highest in the region for substandard food. I got home and opened my pack of chicken and it was spoiled rotten - the date was not yet expired. Not the first time this has happened. I'm not wasting my gas to drive back and try and return it - as I don't live close by. I just wasted $15 for slimy, rotten chicken. My fault for buying the Raley's brand which is especially bad but the other brands were priced so high -- inflation or no inflation, this is unethical. If you are passing through town - please note there are better and safer options for you to shop at including Walmart, Smiths, Alberton's even locally own businesses. Raley's is convenient being right off the highway however I will never set foot in the store again as my money is too important to waste and it is the last time I'm treated like a degenerate by a checker at this location.

Best grocery store for fresh produce, wine selection, meat quality (Harris Ranch) and in-house bakery in Elko. The place to go if you're looking for that odd or foreign ingredient that the other stores don't have. Staff is knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. Prices mostly a bit higher on some items but look for their excellent house brands and Raley's Dailies which are priced comparably to other stores. The store has only cashier man checkout lanes, no self-checkout. They used to have a self-serve bulk food section but now it is all prepackaged post COVID. Their pharmacy closed a couple of years ago. Great deli section with "to order" sandwiches, hot chicken by the piece and a wide variety of deli salads.

Raley's has a really good deli with good choices fir dinner and lunch. The store is always well kept and clean, and the staff is friendly. Prices are generally higher than most places. That being said, they are well stocked and have a lot of choices. They have a floral section and a good fruit and veggies section too. If I need something quick ot it a great place to go, but if I am buying a lot, I tend to gravitate to other locations. That is not to say that I don't like Raley's...I just want my buck to go a bit further when making a larger grocery trip.
