Absolutely wonderful. Drove in late last night from CA, and Amy and Hailey helped with every single special request I had. Room was clean. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was good. If I travel through here again, I'm staying here.

Well its official. Zero refund..not even a partial refund even though I stayed in that room about 2 hours due to how dirty it was. I can see by other reviews that I am not the minority and clearly everyone else was repulsed by this place too. It's one step up from a homeless encampment. Do not refund the 2 nights (I booked 3) is basically theft. This hotel has to do anything to get money as I'm sure people are fleeing this place left right and center. Save the copy and paste reply of your striving for customer service. You couldn't care less..just a group of crooks. I have made an official complaint to corporate. All I wanted was a refund for the subsequent 2 days I was not there. I called very early in the morning...any other decent hotel would have refunded. DO NOT STAY HERE.

I normally come to Elko several times a month and will choose the Best Western over every other chain in the area every time. Theresa at the front desk, and every other person I’ve interacted with have been thoughtful, considerate and accommodating in every way. Every time. The rooms are clean and the beds are super comfy. I especially love the pillows here for some reason I can’t fully identify… Plus the biscuits and gravy in the mornings are delicious. I lived in the deep south where biscuits and gravy recipes live next to the family Bible in some areas… these would pass muster anywhere.

The continental breakfast was top notch but the room smelled like dog pee (it was the dog room). The conditioner they provided was probably the highest quality conditioner I've ever gotten at a hotel. The breakfast staff were very helpful and attentive. Breakfast options included cereal, cherry vanilla yogurt, muffins, English muffins, waffles, apples, bananas, oranges, boiled eggs, bagels or toast, biscuits and gravy, potato chunks, bacon, sausage, and either scrambled eggs or omelet depending on the day. Condiments included butter, cream cheese, peanut butter, jelly, sweetened dried cranberries, raisins, granola, green or red chili salsa, and pancake syrup. They also had orange, apple, and cranberry juice. The coffee bar had like several different creamers and several sweeteners including sugar, saccharine, and aspartame, but not Splenda. Plus the pool was open! Addendum - After sniffing the dog room at a different hotel in another city, I've decided that the dog room at this Best Western is actually pretty good in comparison. I was able to get used to the smell after a while and slept in the room no problem. In contrast, I would rather sleep with 4 people in a small car in subfreezing temperatures than sleep in the other hotel because the smell was so bad. Dog pee can be treated with enzymatic cleaner, or even plain vinegar. I've been in dog rooms with no smell, so I know it's possible.
