Tanglewood Apartments

Tanglewood Apts is a great place to live. With a swimming pool, weight room bldg and a half mile jogging path/dog walk and a Bark Park enclosed. Been here several months. I'm liking this property. I particularly have 10 year old chocolate Lab. A lot of the first floors have enclosed patios. Awesome! Check'em out! Inquire. One more thing to add to this post, the planes at L.I.A. take off early in the morning, the only issue for me personally.

Wateren Bend

Would rate 3.5 stars if I could. The apartments are tucked behind non-functional hotels where there are some homeless nearby,. Once you get past that into the actual Tanglewood community, it looks great .They put a lot of work into it (new mailing system, landscaping). Only constructive criticism is that the hallways smell "old", and the office hours are way too limited (11am-4:30p, weekdays; most people work 9-5. They need weekend hours or extend hours to 7pm) Overall, Great starter apartment. Lots of parking. I have the upgraded unit at a great affordable price. Bug free and kept clean; Maintenance has done a good job with maintenance request. Management/front desk can be slightly disorganized at times but are generally extremely nice and truly care. Love how close it is to the highway, so it makes my commutes shorter. I recommend this place.

I would give 2.5 instead of 3 if I had the option. I've been here for 7 months and my only real complaint is that the walls/ceilings are extremely thin. I can hear it literally every time someone upstairs takes a step and its loud enough to be irritating. You can also hear everyone's music/TV, which is even worse. Maybe I'm just unlucky, but that is my experience. I'd say If you're looking for a calm and quiet place to live, these apartments aren't for you. Other than the noise, these apartments aren't bad. The ladies in the office are nice and helpful, maintenance responds to issues quickly, & the units look nice. The area is extremely convenient, with quick access to 65 and plenty of stores and places to eat nearby.

Lived there for over three years, just recently moved. Right by I-65, made commuting to work and school so easy. All the facilities are excellently maintained (gym, pool, laundromat). The community is quiet and everyone was friendly. The staff is very professional and provides quick service for anything you need, from the office personnel to the maintenance department. I highly recommend Tanglewood to anyone looking for an apartment neighborhood community.
