Very nice sunset this is my fav beach. So let me tell you , because I spend a lot of time to go to more different places, I often go to different beaches, but this beach is the best for me to sunburn , I come here about 3 times a month because the parking is very close and very cheap, and the restaurants are very close to the coast.

Great small park to sit, relax and take in a beautiful sunset. You can also shoot some hoops although there is only one court.

Beautiful land. Sad to know the Bruce’s lost it due to imminent domain. Happy to know Governor Newsom gave it back. I recommend visiting the area, quiet, clean and great views on the ocean.

So happy this landmark was returned to the family! The history will live on. Glad I stumbled in today and got a few snaps

Stolen! The KKK ran them off of their property, the city used eminent domain and racism to seal the deal. Run that family their money! I’m born and raised in California and just found out white people sunk four Black towns and put lakes on top of them!
Not sure if this applies to me but I'm sure there's some sort of celebration at the beach this summer
Bruce's Beach is an urban park, one block square, with no perimeter barriers, and therefore is accessible 24/7. The City of Manhattan Beach may have a law regarding loitering in the park late at night, but there are no signs posted to that effect.
Get a lawyer.
Yes.
Honestly Idk but justice has been served
From what I read, George C Peck sold it to the Bruce family
A mere pittance of it's true worth even for back then.
Yes and you can go down to Huntington Beach as well which is fun for all.
Bruce's Beach is actually a park on a hilly street. Dogs are allowed on leash in the lower portion only. In Manhattan Beach, there are no beaches where dogs are allowed on the sand or in the water. You can take your dog for a walk on the Strand, a concrete walkway that runs alongside the beach .
I'm pretty sure dogs are not allowed on the beach. However, everybody's walking their dogs on the Strand, and I've seen them in the park, too!
