We had an old lady wait on us. She was so sweet. The food. Lort the food was good. Had the catfish. I'm from Texas and we love our sweet tea. Theirs was delicious

Walked to the counter at 10:00 to ask if we seat ourselves and I was greeted with a few taps on the table as if I was an inconvenience and a response of “yup” (no eye contact whatsoever). Started to write this to pass the time after I noticed that everyone who was seated already received their food before we came in. The lady at the counter checked on a family next to us to see if they needed refills and if they’re food was ok. Started reading reviews and noticed a trend. If you’re not from around it we’ll wait on you when we feel like it. (My wife and I was never served).

It was a good meal at a decent price. My bf and I went after we visited metropolis for the superman festival. A friend we made there recommended the restaurant to us and Yesterday's did not dissapoint! I recommended the chicken fried steak. Its delicious!

Food was VERY fresh and far exceeded our expectations, great place to stop for food. Fried Catfish & hush puppies was excellent as well.
